Tried calling back, said it was a survey, seemed suspicious.

Brand new one, eh? Got here before the 3rd ring (I was on 800notes on another tab) and dumped it to my CPR blocker. Survey is a cover - they're farming/mining telephones, the ones that answer, go on to become part of the scammer/telemarketer database. We get enough call-blocking going on, these guys won't have a resource to mine - but we all know what Mr Barnum said...

Mike is absolutely correct.

Telemarketer,  You call back to get them take your number off their call list, as voice mail is giving instructions on how to opt out, the line becomes choppy intentionally.

Caller ID shows "Bainbridge Island", robo calls us twice a day at least once a week for almost a year now.

Saying I won a grant being that I never applied for a grant it is an obvious scam.

Calling 3 times a day with some stupid scam message.
