The call was from Washington

Called me at 4:39 AM saying he was from Microsoft.  Asked me how I was doing.  Said not well since you woke me up.  Told him not to call this number again and hung up.

I just had this guy call and said he was from the Fraud Prevention Department with Microsoft. He said his name was Frank, he sounded like he had an Indian accent. He said that my email address had been hacked and he knew my email address. He wanted me to go to www.teamviewer.com and download the software so that he could remote into my computer. He was condescending and spoke to me like I have no comprehension of computers and the internet. He constantly interrupted me when I spoke and would not listen or answer my questions. I finally yelled at him and told him that I was going to report the number.

Called to inform me that my name had been randomly drawn to receive $9000 from the federal government, which I "did not need to return."  Why is this number still in operation????

206-777-1088 or a restricted numbers call. Never leaves a message and I definitely dont answer

Received a call from this number - they did not leave a message.

Received call that I was selected out of 1500 people to receive $7,800 since I had not criminal history and pay my taxes. The Indian man on the phone provided me with an ID approval code # and a call back number to claim the cash. He also said when I call back, that person could find the nearest western union to deposit the cash today. naturally, I found this strange, and never called the call back number. I plan to call the US treasury Dept and report this call. The number that called me was 206-777-1088

This is the Microsoft "your computer sent us a danger message" scam.  The guy sounded Indian.

Got a call from this number, from Seattle, Washington. Didn't answer, didn't leave a message.

Getting called by this number weekly. Vmail too full for any messages (left all kinds of spam calls in vmail to fill it up). I refuse to answer. CID says "Washington"

Got a call from this number last night... They didn't leave a normal message but the line open for about minute and a half talking in I think Indian(from India) in the background.

I got a call from (206) 777-1088 on 8/27/2105 12:15 pm. A woman asked to speak with me and I confirmed that I am on the line. She told me that she is calling from "... Department of US Government" in the State of Washington. I asked: "Which government? Federal Government or Government of the State of Washington? She told: "I am calling from Department of ...". I again could not recognize the Department and asked: "Which Department?". She disconnected. In 12:54 pm and in 12:55 pm I called back this number, but I got message saying "All circuits are busy now". In 1:25 pm I got another phone call, this time from 800-518-4777. A lady with non-typical accent told "May I speak with Bojidar Raytchev?". She pronounced my name exceptionally well - it is not common in USA. I answered: "Speaking". She repeated same question and I answered: "Bojidar Raytchev speaking". She disconnected. I again called back and I got same message: "All circuits are busy now".

Scammer. East Indian man telling me he was from Microsoft and he had an urgent matter to discuss about my computer.  When I asked how he got my number, he hung up.

I am getting the same calls I tell them I know it's a scam and hang up.

Here's a little tip for those times you don't look at the caller ID and happen to get the "We are windoze support" folks.  Just say you have a Mac or Linux.  This confuses them a lot and they go away for a few weeks.

Yep, got the "Microshaft Customer Support Team" call.   I told him I didn't own a computer and tried to keep him on the line to play games with him.   He hung up.

I have been getting these call for 6 months they don't stop..what can I do.

Got a call from this number, it showed up on my phone as being from Seattle WA, guy had a thick indian accent.  He tells me in an urgent tone that my computer is not receiving the proper updates.  I said "What kind of updates?"  He says "it's not getting it's proper updates!"  I stated that this had to be some kind of joke and he literally yells at me "THIS IS NOT A JOKE" and I just laughed said obviously this is a scam and hung up on him.

Be careful, don't give these people ANY INFORMATION
