Just another stupid scammer call...I refuse to answer, and I NEVER call them back!  You could be calling who knows where...and guess what...you also could be charged for that call...and because you made the call...you get to be charged for the call...and that call can cost you a LOT of $$'s!!  Don't even bother answering, or calling them back.  It's not worth it.  If it's important...they will leave a message.  If not, don't let it bother you...just add it to a block list...it is so much more satisfying!  :-)  I have "Black list" and it's free, I LOVE it!  There are many others out there!  Don't give those idiots the satisfaction of making you mad!  YOU take the control!!  Piss THEM off!  Ha-Ha!!  Nothing makes me happier!

Did not answer, caller left a voice message that he was officer at Internal Revenue Services and they had filed a law suit against me and I needed to call 509 537-0491.  Blocked the caller and reported the scam to FTC and IRS.

The IRS will NEVER NEVER call you ..  this is a big SCAM.  PLEASE do nto call them back but report it.

They have called twice using another number with different digits on end. I know this as I blocked that one. From reading the other notes, they are multi liar company. Pre recorded message saying IRS is filing lawsuit. Now will add this secong number in 2hrs.

Asked for me by first name, when I asked what it was about he said "Fitzgerald, Chesterfield County Police" at which point I told him his caller ID was Seattle WA. He said "it does that sometimes".  I told him we didn't take these kind of calls and hung up. Last week got a fund raising telemarketing call for the same police dept at work, and I know they hire fundraisers for their police family fund or whatever they call it.  So probably that, although I guess it could be the IRS fraud - didn't stay on long enough to find out.

Calls daily, never leaves message

We all know it's a scam. Play with them and have fun! Make them think they are getting some where with the call. Act surprised and anxious. Make them think you weren't aware and really want their help. Once you are done having fun and decide it's time to get back to reality, hang up or drop the bomb and tell them you know it's a scam. I always get calls about a car I don't have. I love toying with these people! Remember they called you...enjoy it.

Just got call on cell phone, could not understand anything he said in a foreign language.  I do not receive calls usually on my cell and use it only for emergencies.  This call was from Washington.

I keep getting calls from this number and and I keep rejecting them. I would like them to stop calling my phone due to I'm not interested in scams and they are just a wastep of my time. Leave me alone

They keep saying they are a debt collector. I owe no debts. I keep track of my credit every week. I have numbers all over the country calling with the same automated message. I block and they use a different number. It's getting really annoying

BostonHolly is so RIGHT.  IF you pick up the phone, and even though there is no one on the line, these scammers know it is an "active phone".  They know now that someone has answered and will continue to call and call and call.  If they say..."PUSH # 2 or whatever number to be removed from our calling list"...DO NOT DO IT !!! Again they know it is an ACTIVE LINE and someone has answered.  Just let it ring or get a phone that has CALL BLOCK.

I have the same phone as "Silence-is-Golden".  It works perfectly.  I had to "empty" it out once in the 6 months that I have had this phone, but that's easy to do too.  It is the BEST thin to use against these scammers. And truly...why would you answer the phone when you don't know the number that comes up.  Practically none of these scammers leave messages...And if they do....BLOCK THEM.  Get the phone.  Best investment you will ever make against these idiots that have nothing better to do than call all over the country...

just called the number back and got "sorry, all circuits are busy at the moment, please call back'

I just received a voicemail from this number, also telling me that this was a "second attempt to reach me about an important issue, and if I ignore this call there will be a lawsuit filed against me and a warrant for my arrest." Are these people serious?! How has this person not been tracked down yet.

Robo-mechanical male voice saying it's the IRS and they are going to sue me unless I call them back at 509-537-0491. Ri-i-i-ght. The IRS hires robots to call taxpayers and tell them they're being sued. It's a scam, as mentioned earlier. Don't fall for it.
