Just got a call from this number, I don't answer phone numbers that I don't recognize. Caller ID says Unknown Name.

This number is from an "assumed collection agency?". Or perhaps debt consolodation? I am not sure really. But from what I have read on other posts, it is a money scam effort.
The automated voice says her name is Kelly Smith and has something important to talk to you about.
BUT, here is the catch. No one is ever available to actually talk to you.
I have received these calls for months now.
I have tried to leave messages to get a return call from a live person to find out who I may owe money to.

IF I actually owed money and had a legitimate debt, I would be notified via mail.
This is a scam.
It is very irritating that I have wasted so much time trying to return a call, as well as wait on hold only to be disconnected.

called my house, was an automated message asking for me by my full name. I hung up on them, then called back. was on hold for 5 minutes and did not get a response so I hung up.

I applied for a home mortgage from Wells Fargo and have been getting scam and phishing crap ever since. If you Google the phone number, the business name that comes up is for a locksmith in Seattle.

I received an automated call from Kelly Smith regarding an "important message".

Who is the number they keep calling

Applied for a home loan with Wells Fargo back in July, got horrible service from them and the kicker is that I keep getting calls from "Kelly Smith with an important message".  The two things I have realized from this, Do NOT apply for a home mortgage with Wells Fargo: four months dealing with them and never did get a final answer, I went into Alpine Mortgage in Vancouver Wa and was approved in four hours with a great APR.
Second: go into your phone configure site or number and block this number, I have been unable to get them to stop calling so I just blocked them.  Good luck people, see you all in the Class Action law suite that needs to be filed.

Evidently, my phone number is cross-wired to another person with my name - which this company has... "Angela" was the person I spoke with and she is with LVNV Funding. Sounds like a debt collector. I also got the same "Kelly" with a brittish accent taped message before I accepted the call. Ugh. Credit bureaus need to get their information straight!

Rec'd 2 calls from 206-777-1972 - and since i screen my calls & it said unknown caller - I did not pick up.  Nor did anyone leave a message.  No message, fine,......

What a bunch of JERKS!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you know what National No Caller list means ?????????

JUST rec'd a call from 206-777-1972, let it go to voice mail, no message left.....not the first time....

Receive calls about every two days for months--never answer. No messages ever left. Wish there was a viable way to stop it.  Caller ID says Warwick Hotel-S

Don't know them, asked my Mother in law and told me it's a money scam.

Got a couple of calls from this number. The caller ID said "WARWICK HOTEL-S". We do not answer anything that doesn't look familiar, so we let the answering machine take it. If it's legit, we'll call them back. This caller did not leave a message either time. I usually Google the number if it looks suspicious. After reading what I've read from others on here, I will block this call. I love modern technology.

PS: Beware of stuff like this because caller ID spoofing is more and more common these days. It ought to be made illegal IMO. That's why we don't answer any calls unless it's someone we personally know.

R'cvd call and automated msg from this number for months now, they never give up and they call early, late all hours. Irritating!

i received a automated  call for my husband , but it said warick hotels , hotels why would a hotel be calling us we are not going to be going on vacation so i googled the number , saw a lot of people saying that phone number comes up as various bushiness on the caller id and its a scam so if you get a call from this number don't answer it

It's a collection agency called Convergent Outsourcing. They claimed they were calling on behalf of Doubleday Book Club for an alleged past debt I owe. I told them never to contact me again. This is their web site: http://www.convergentusa.com/

calls several times within 15 min period.  no message left. caller id just has city & state. if i dont know the number i dont answer.  annoying.
