received call from 208 242 1412 did not answer - don't know anyone in ID.

Hi - This crank call comes in at our business phone every day. I thought it was  customer name. I'm blocking it after reading this stuff: here is what I found so far (see below)

Called. Did not leave a message. Just as bad as what I was getting form USFLCC for student loans. They also use a hijacked # from Illinois (847) 658-2586. Lady on the other end sounds Indian and obviously reads from a script. If you ask any questions its pretty much a nonsensical answer repeated over and over.

This is a person by the name of Christopher Brown and Alex Herbert Friedhelm as tag team NIGERIAN SCAMMERS! They are dangerous.

They call pretty much everyday. How do you report them? They call from different numbers and never leave a message. Very annoying.

Tired of the constant calls its getting old.don't have no clue who they are.i see on other peoples complaints.i have never took out a student loan.they need to stop calling...

This is a robo call. i answered and got the same message that i got from a Los Angeles  number.

You can't sue someone if you don't know who they are. If you tried calling the number back like I did, you'd notice it's disconnected which means they're probably using a spoofed caller ID. That's how they remain anonymous (and avoid prosecution)
A lot of people mistakenly think that if they registered their # with the Do Not Call Registry, they're protected.  Wrong. The Registry Is Useless & not even worth the paper it's printed on. I'm sorry to say you're better off getting a smartphone with call blocking. That's what I do.

 I've gotten a call from this number saying I'm late on property payments. I have gotten a call saying this more than one time, however they were all on different phone numbers.

Also the voice operator only starts when I begin talking.

I refuse to answer calls from people I do not know anymore.  This trend seems to be on the increase.  These people just get a number and continue to call without any way of taking you off their list.  They obviously don't give a dang if the call is legitimate or not. I am really grateful to this site for informing me of the mode of operation for this rude and intrusive home invasion outfit.  They need to be shut down swiftly and without leage recourse.  Deal with them as they deal with the public.

Didn't answer because "Out of Area" does not indicate who's calling.  If it's not a NAME I recognize, I am not answering.  Plus, I had no idea where area code 208 was located until I got on computer.  Idaho?  I have one family member there but they would leave a message.

If this is loan forgiveness than I have no idea why they are calling me since I only received  "Pell grant."

this number called my landline number. i let it go to my message machine and they hung up. redialing the number gives me a recording of a non-existent number. the caller id said McCammon ID.

Got same, from McGammon too. Did not pick up, no msg left on answer machine. Annoying!

Received a call  @8:29 pm on 4/2/15.  I was not at home.  I never call them back and don't answer when I am home.

I got a call from this number yesterday. No message left. Hopefully they wont call back.

I got a call from this number. I rejected it after the first ring. Two seconds later they called back and I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.
