Recorded message saying the IRS is filing suit and I need to call back immediately. IF I were inclined to make long distance call I would google Hindu curse words first to be at the ready. I would say something like, "My name is chootya heramee. No wait, that's YOUR name. You are chootya heramee." and so on until they hang up.

Only got the very last part of their message on my cellular voice mail, so couldn't call them back even if I wanted to.  Obviously a scam, they couldn't even wait to see if I answered or if it went to voice mail.   Glad I have roll-over minutes, otherwise these scumbags would be running up my cell phone bill.

I received a call stating they were from the US going to sue me, I needed to go to my bank and transfer 3200 to them immediately to avoid jail time.  My driver license and social security number was red flagged.  If I did not pay now they would send the police and I would get 5 years in prison due to tax fraud

Called twice yesterday and at 6:25 AM today. Can the FCC or IRS borrow some NSA technology?

Called today, automated message claiming to be IRS and they had been trying to reach me and were filing suit against me.  Remember, the IRS never calls, they communicate via mail.  Caller ID said COEUR D'LN ID

I got same call today. Call ID shows Egypt. Number spaced apart on ID.

Called today, same automated message as above from phone # 208-416-1532

i got call from same number yesterday and today claiming there was a dialysis lawsuit against me, which is entirely bogus.

IRS claiming that I owed taxes and would be sued. Can block with iPhone.

Could not believe these people called my job and threatened me with a lawsuit. Do they really think we're  that stupid that we would actually give them anything. When I asked for an agent that actually speaks English the scammed hung up on me.

yeah, its a scam.  they said there was a warrant out for my arrest and they were going to come after me.  i started talking to the guy and asked him what exactly was wrong with my tax return and he just sat there.  Then he got all defense and said if i was not going to pay it was too late that 'warrant out for you, we sue you in court'.  I politely told him that government employees dont threaten people over the phone and usually say 'yes sir' and continued to educate him on phone edict until he hung up on me.

I'm really tired of theses people calling my elderly parents. I wish for once I could be there to answer for them. I will be reporting them. In the meantime I told my Dad next time they call to say "Butler County Sheriff Office" maybe  they will think they got the wrong number. I guess we can have fun with it at their expense. Hopefully they will get the hint to stop calling.

I got the same call. Then I called back and nobody answered

received a call at 6:30am on a Saturday saying it was the final call and next the IRS would be filing a lawsuit against me. I called the number, sounded like an Indian accent in a call center, answered it as the IRS. He asked which number I received the call and I told him (I used a different line to call them back). He searched through papers before saying the lawsuit would be against 'my husband's name'. They asked for him- I said he was sleeping and demanded to know what the suit was regarding. The guy immediately hung up the phone.

These filthy criminals frightened my elderly Mother by leaving a message saying the IRS was suing her and to call them back at this number. I tried to so I could yell stuff at them but they hung up immediately before I could say anything. Will report them to the real IRS and FTC.
