Scan call. When I went to complain, they put me on line with another person who was also complaining. That's a new one.

Earlier this afternoon got a call to didn't answer they left no message

208-559-9856 Is some kind of credit card scam. Don't bother trying to call back or report them. The caller ID number is spoofed.

Just received call on my cell. Looked the # up here and didn't answer. No message left. Am on the Do Not Call list. What is with this??

I received call today on my cellphone from 208-558-9856 & caller id showed Idaho. I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize due to the hundreds of calls I have already received and blocked. Just added this one to that list.

Just called me at noon, didn't wake up for the first call, did for the second but missed it. It was on my personal cell. Tried calling back twice, no answer, just a dial tone, then call dropped. Glad I didn't answer, I rarely get scam calls.

Are you really that daft to buy into the service to begin with? If so, you deserve the scam!

"Millions of telemarketers lost their jobs"? Serious? "Millions did? Who'd you telemarket for? Obama? Seems like another subsidy on my hard working tax paying [***]!

If we lost "millions of telemarketing" positions, it would seem to me, that's a million steps in the right direction!

Received call on my cell / no message was left. Do not know the area code of 208. I have received call from this number many times without any messages. Will not answer calls if I don't the area code of the calls.

Scammers.  Calling a  number listed as a 'DO NOT CALL"  Identify themselves as a "payday loan" collector.   Ummmm i don't use those....ever.

This was a recorded msg about some credit card offer, aka scam. I didn't wait for the end of the msg.

Yep, I got 2 missed calls.  Richard Hodge from Island Park, ID.  Called the number and says it's not working.  Googled him and he lives there and his wife is Lynn, and he's on the board of a homeowner association or a member or something?  Not going to answer anymore and just got new phone so need to figure out how to block him.  I also am on the Do Not Call registry but am getting more and more calls lately?  

Since I know of nobody in that area code, did not answer.  No message left.  Caller ID showed the unfamiliar name of  HODGE, RICHARD.  Don't know who this is nor what was wanted but now blocked and I won't be hearing from them again.  :-)

Numbers can be easily spoofed and can appear to come from any number the caller wishes, if they know how.  Looks like this is being done with this number.  Is probably the reason the number is disconnected upon callback.  Would venture to guess the name which appears on the caller ID, Richard Hodge, is the poor slob who used to own the number and he is probably getting a lot of flack because his name is still attached to it.  Can't say for sure, mind you.  But what kind of scammer would be idiot enough to attach his real name to the number he scams from.  Would be sort of like wetting your own bed, no?  :-)

Answered the call but they hung up.  Got calls from this number before but never answered.

Didn't answer. I've found that the BEST way to FIGHT these type call is not to answer. Sure, some people have businesses and get calls from strange area codes, but that's not the case for me. If it's out of my area code, and not a number my cell  phone knows, I don't answer. Any legitimate caller would leave a message.
