Sprint is using IC systems as a collection agency for a 45 day late payment on a 4G data stick that has NEVER done better than 3G, it i so data limited that 1  1/2 to 2 movies and you hit your monthly data limit, it's useless. Even the salesman tried to talk me out of it, shame on me. It's only an $80 bill and they call like clockwork every morning at 8:30  - 8:45 AM. Definitely IC systems, that's who sends me collection notices.

Debt collector about a Sprint bill for $45. I bought an iPhone at Best Buy and decided on Sprint as the carrier. I had no previous cell account, just my TWC landline phone. I wanted to ditch the landline and go with that phone number, so even though I bought the iPhone, I never got assigned a Sprint phone number as I was waiting for the TWC ph number to be switched. While I was waiting, I decided to keep the TWC account because of the bundle deal. So Best Buy sales guy called Sprint for me to get a Sprint phone number after all. We spent 3 days and over 6 hours with the Sprint sales people trying to get a phone number! After admitting defeat, we decided if I returned the phone and started all over to buy it again, it would void the sale and allow me to get a Sprint phone number but the Sprint customer service was so bad I could not see going with them once the sale was voided. I never got any service from them because there was never a phone number on the account!! No calls came in or went out on that phone. Sprint said they voided the account. Later I start getting this bill in my email. I called and called many times to explain but each time they said they would correct their mistake, they lied and kept sending bills. Now I get the IC Systems robocalls because they bought out the so-called "debt." I work second shift so they wake me every day. I hate these companies.

I called them back and they said it was a "personal business matter" and would only give me details after I told them my name, phone number, address and a bunch of other info it seems very phishy to me. After I insisted they tell me who they were before I provided information they hung up.

Just from personal experience, I know people who pursue the Craigslist Ads and will give out phone numbers in those ads to their bill collectors, etc....has been happening to me for years/always getting calls from debt collectors for someone else.  If you don't owe whoever they are collecting for, file a complaint against the company with the attorney generals office of where their corporate office is located, also file one against Sprint or whoever they are collecting for, most can be done online.  File the complaints for harassment, etc.....

    very annoyed
I changed my phone service when I got a good deal for tv,internet and phone service bundle.  Ever since, I have got calls from 800 and unknown area codes. I never answer. From the comments I've read here, I think previous holder of this number has  bad credit. If you got you number recently, this may be the case for you too.

Very rude. They wanted me to answer too many personal questions before telling me who they were. They asked me to call this number but I am not going to do that.

I have to wonder why an allegedly “legitimate “business would need so many phone numbers to call out on?
Web site list an alleged PO box for an address:  http://www.icsystem.com/contact-us/
BBB lists them as an accredited business but only a B rating with 698 complaints, and 5 negative reviews (shouldn’t that be an F rating?):  http://www.bbb.org/minnesota/business-reviews ... int-paul-mn-554

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

My so called friend has given my number as a reference or something. They keep calling. I called back & they say my phone is breaking up. Look, I have my own debt issues & to constantly get calls from them and it not even be about me is ridiculous, annoying and unwarranted.
