Answering machine message said "This is a public survey call, we may call back later." This is the third or fourth time they've called; I suppose they will give up eventually?

This was a political campaign voicemail for the primary elections next Tuesday in Oklahoma.

I just got this also except they called my cell phone and before I could answer it went to voice mail. Now if my digging about is correct it is this persons phone making the calls;

I keep getting phone calls from this number saying its from a survey group and they won't stop calling

"This is a political survey call.  We may call back later."

they keep leaving a message about marriage should be between one woman and one man.

Haven't they heard of the "no call" list.

I want them to quit calling!

2nd call in 2 days to business phone.

they are driving me nuts, I finally let the survey play through but did not respond.  THe call is from FRCaction.org.  I contacted them and asked to be removed from their list but of course they say they don't see me on their  list.  I told them my next call will be to the FCC as their autodialer did not give me the the opportunity  to opt out.  I found the survey questions to be very offensive due to the way the were phrased.  Extreme right wing phrasing and I'm a moderate.

now its my turn, they will call back junk. I worked and worked to get off the tea bag phone system and now this.

I got a call from "Mike Huckabee" from this number asking if I would participate in a survey.  They accept yes, no, and maybe answers only, so I didn't get a chance to let them hear my real answers.  The "questions" were to lead me to believe the lie  that Obama has promised to remove all restrictions on abortions and do I want to force all Americans to support that.  That is the only issue that pushes the buttons of the Republicans around here so I imagine it is effective in setting the stage for the next presidential election.  Sad.

they have called me 3 days in a row.  I responded on the FRC webscam site that I did NOT want to be contacted again, though I doubt they'll do the right thing.

Call to new work phone.  Missed last night's, but picked up today.  Automated message claiming to be "election research"; first question was "Do you have a favorable opinion of Obama?"  I suspected political shenanigans or phishing, and hung up.  Couldn't find anything reputable about this number.  Reading others' experiences here makes me glad I did.  I'm middle-of-the-road politically, but privacy invasions and hard-sell like this turns me off to Republicans.

Judging from my caller ID, it's a political something-or-other.  First call came yesterday when I was not here; the second today.  I pick it up, punch the talk button on my phone and replace it in the cradle.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry, but there seems to be no teeth in that law - political organizations, I guess, are exempt, but this is only the latest in a long series of numbers that should not be calling.  I'm compiling a list that I will submit to the authorities once I figure out to whom they should be submitted with the expectation that something will be done about them.

Politcal calls, charity and surveys are EXEMPT from the do not call rules.  Those apply to TELEMARKTERS trying to sell you something ONLY.

Called my house 4 times in the last 2 days.  When you try and answer it is a recording stating they will try back later.  I would love to get ahold of a live person so that I could list out the 7 or so 4 letter words that come to mind each time they call.  How can I get ahold of a live person?  I am on the do not call list.

these calls are illegal, unethical and need to stop.  This is harrassment and violation of my rights... aka, the classic Republican party agenda.  Republicans have made this country a laughing stock of the world.  Cheney is a war criminal and should be jailed.  Bush is a moron, too dumb to prosecute... he was the only one on the short bus at Harvard.  If I every meet a telemarketer or anyone associated with these calls, I will not be responsible for thier health.

It came up on my caller ID as AI VOTERRSPNS20.  I wasn't home but wouldn't have answered it if I was.  I got a total of 4 calls like this on my caller ID today from different people.  Very annoying to say the least!
