They tried to get my mothers credit card information and said they were from BestBuy/CitiBank. Even had a Spanish speaker to translate and was rude to my mom, demanding money from her and she didn’t even owe BestBuy anything so of course it was fraud and tried to scam her. Good thing we confirmed with the actual Best Buy that she didn’t owe anything but yeah, be careful you guys. He did give me his worker ID but I just knew it was fake since I keep track of my bills.

They keep calling. I always reply (to all unknown #) with a text that states:    "HINT 2 SPAMMERS -> STOP CALLING ME & F**K OFF!!"    I know then to block the number. It works ALL THE TIME

99.9% of the times I get a reply message that states the text couldn't be sent because number is a landline.   .01% if number is a cell phone understand and tell me "what a smart idea."

SCAMMMERS!!!  Don't call back.  Not legitimate.  Some B.S. name Emmanuelle De La Cruz asking to call 866-537-0871 and some long @$$ extension...clearly a scam.

This number comes from Citibank. The VM said to call another number to Citibank fraud protection to verify some activity. Luckily I called because there was an electronic fraudulent check being cashed from my account.

Receive a call and used Mr. and my last name. Identified as Citi Security and asked if I wrote a check for $985.00.
Stated No and informed them I do not have an account with Citi and they hung up.

I answered and the woman with a foreign accent asked if she could speak to me. I did not verify my name, I asked who they were and she would only respond with “this is a personal business call, can I speak with Brittany?”  This happened at least 3 times and then I said “well if you can’t tell me who you are then the call must not be that important” to which she said “oh” and didn’t say anything else so I hung up.

These guys are scammers. I recently had my identity stolen so had to cancel my Citibank credit card bc of fraud. I received a voicemail message to call 208222207 Citibank Fraud. when I called back kept, the woman kept trying to "verify account details" asking ever more personally identifiable information related questions. I gave them my zip code and the last 4 digits of my canceled card. When I said I'm simply returning your call, what is your question? Is it about fraud? the woman with an Indian accent said 'well the account we have is closed we need your new account number.' I said 'Why?' No answer. I said "I don't believe you are Citibank, but if you have a question you can ask me now." No answer. I hung up

Called asking for me, by name stating they are from Home Depot credit card services. Asked me if I am in a store applying for Home Depot credit card. I was not. I asked where store is located. And they stated it was in Michigan. Instructed me that I may want to lock my credit report.
