- CherylReceived a call from this number and a message was left that if I or my attorney do not call back immediately threatening me with some type of lawsuit. The voice on my machine was like a robot. So I called the # back. It rang for at least 20 times until someone picked it up. A foreign voice answered introducing himself as Officer Henry Johnson with the IRS. I told him you are not with the IRS because the IRS does not call and leave threatening messages. He started to yell at me so I hung up...what a joke.

- june| 1 replyI received a message like a robot saying I or my attorney needed ro call immediately because it was a matter of urgent attention. When I did, a man with a foreign voice said he was with the IRS and I was being sued for a mistake in my taxes of 2009-2012 and I could either go to court or I could pay privately and someone would come by with the paperwork and I could write a check for 1200 dollars. I hung up!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
