Scam call. Hang up on them and block. Foreign call center. Not from San Antonio. Losers

shows xxxxxxxxxxxx where name should be a automatic block

When I called the number back while blocked, there was a recording that said, "This survey is now ended," and the phone goes dead.  So I added this number to my block list.

I called the number back and it said The survey that I was calling for was now finished.

210-319-5066 this unknown number calla me and I do not want it to call again.

No message. Repeated calls recently from this Area Code 210.

Received a call from 210-319-5066 and answered it.
A machine stated the call was from Online Reward Center and asked if i could hear the call ok. I did not reply so it hung up.

Found this in my call logs, was not home to get the call.
No message was left on the answering machine.
I do not know anyone in San Antonio.

They vary the phone number, 5066, 5067, and so on, so if you block 5067, it then dials 5066 and on down the line until it hits you.   If you use a call blocker that accepts wild cards, then set it to block 210-319-#### or even 210-31#-####.  If you answer the phone by saying "Yes" or something other than "hello," their voice recognition won't trigger and it will hang up after about 30-45 sec.

Just got the call moments ago.  I already have the 210 area code blocked due to all the scam calls from Microsoft wanting to fix my computer.
Shows up on my caller ID, but goes dead after one ring. Ha!

I like your caller description. It made me laugh. =) But thanks for the advice on how to block, and for how to answer without saying 'hello'. I will have to try to remember those, if I ever do answer one of these ridiculous calls. =)

They use  different numbers.
