Obvious scammer sent me this text, “Hello NAME IN ALL CAPS We've made several attempts to get in contact with you in regard to your outstanding balance. We need to speak with you today or your account can be frozen, Call 210-624-8625 today to resolve. To be removed from call list, Call us as this number does not receive text.” I think this is the fake debt collector that goes by RFS.

they called and said they were going to have me arrested if i didnt pay them money ! people like this need to be arrestid it is fraud, if a person comits fraud you get arrested, why can they do the same thing over the phgone and not have charges against them

The authorities can arrest someone who commits fraud over the phone.  However, first they have to know that the fraud is being committed (are you reporting the calls you receive?) and gather evidence of a crime, then they have to locate the people making the calls (which is difficult to impossible since they spoof their numbers and may be calling from overseas), then they can make an arrest.
In any case, making poorly typed rants on this site will do nothing to resolve the problem.

Husband got a call from this number stating an urgent return call was needed from him or the responsible party. I called the number back and they said the county that I live in has contracted them to mediate a wage garnish for a payday loan (I never took a payday loan out) said it was under EZ Money or something. When I told, I did not take out a loan, he argued with me and then hung up on me.

Both my father and sister got a call for me using my maiden name and i have not used that name in years saying that one of us needs to call back about an important business matter and left a number to call back.

I just got the exact same text as you.

Called and left a message stating that they were going to throw my dead father in jail for non-payment of a payday loan (that he never took out, ofc). They're welcome to regather his ashes and try!

They just told me I was being sued for payday loans. I've never had one lol.

These people are gross

They texted me saying: Notice: (name in all caps). We've tried to contact you about your outstanding balance. Call us today at 210-624-8625 to avoid penalties on your account.

I called and they said I'll be getting sued for a payday loan. I've never had a payday loan in my life. I'm sick of these scammers.

I got a text from this number stating that and i quote “Hello we are contacting you directly from RFS this is an important matter that requires your immediate attention we have you listed as a contact for Nicole Miller if this is you or you know this person please press one now or please return my call as soon as possible at 210-624-8625 again that is 210-624-8625 it is urgent that either yourself or the responsible party contact me directly thank you

The thing is, I’m 14. And I don’t know anyone by this name.

Got a text saying to call them about an outstanding matter. Clearly a scam!

Received text messages, multiple, that I owe someone money and they're going to come after me. Same message that others are also receiving.

Got the same message a few minutes ago. I don't have a payday loan but a relative got one and used me as a reference.  🫤
