- JesseSome Indian guy called from this number and knew my name. I hung up, then called back and got a recording saying that number was not in service. Very odd.
- RMCI receive a call from this number (210-807-4079) about once a week. The caller appears to have an Indian accent and asks for the person who used to have this number (now new to me). They say they are from an online pharmacy. When I say that the person they are asking for is no longer attached to this number, they hang up on me instantly. I tried to call them back, but the number is "disconnected".
- Caller: an online pharmacy
- fundirGot a call from the number and there were guys talking and then on my caller ID it came up conference call. I hung up. Will put it in my block call numbers.
- JerryAn Indian accent man called me by my full name and told me that my computer was going in to a system critical shut down and they are the only people that can fix it. They wanted access to my computer.
Don't trust them!!!!!- Caller: "San Antonio TX"

- 210-807-4079Got a called from this number claiming their are with Microsoft tech support. Trying to tell me that my computer sent them message that I was having computer issues and that it was in a critical stage. After I asked a few questions I hung up...its a scam!!!
- IrritatedKeep getting calls from some Indian guy who claims to be from Microsoft. Tell him my computer is off and he says I don't understand and that it could still be sending error messages and that I need to sit and front of my computer and follow their steps to fix the problem.
- Caller: "Microsoft"
- Richard ClarkKeep getting a call from this number wanting to upgrade my computer....I don't even have a computer...frustrating!!!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jimboPeople...get yourself a call blocking device and you won't have to worry about these calls again.
- Tired of these callsThis is a SCAM!!! I get these calls almost daily and it's usually an Indian speaking person asking for my dead grandfather, so I'm already in defense mode. Did I mention This is a SCAM!? No one from Microsoft is calling to fix your computer for free. Once you give them remote access to your computer you can kiss your life away. I usually play cat & mouse (yes, I have lots of free time) acting like I'm at my computer and it won't work, acting like I don't know how to turn the computer on, etc. until they get frustrated and hang up on me . . . My point being, don't get caught up in this crap as it's been a long time running SCAM!
- Caller: "Microsoft"
- Call type: Telemarketer
- WandaJust got a call from this number asking for "Mrs. Mavi". Display said "Out of Area." Lots of background noise.
- It's a scamI actually answered the phone this time as we are always getting calls from this number with a hang-up. He knew who to ask for. Even thought I said ___ was not here, could I take a message, he said it was regarding my computer. He said his name was "Gary Williams" and had difficulty pronouncing it with his very Indian accent. Yea right your name is Gary Williams. Said that the Windows on my computer was reporting a problem back to them. I don't even remember who he said he was. Just hung up at that point. No one from Microsoft would ever call ME to say that there is a problem. I tried to call the number back and just get a fast busy signal.
- icebeanThis number shows as "San Antonio" on my phone. It is a SCAM. Indian "customer service rep" says that my computer is having critical problems and that without their help, the machine will be incapacitated, all files will be lost and there will be no recovery. I told him that I knew this was a scam, that they had no way to know anything about my computer and that I was going to report the number to the FCC as a scam. He started yelling at me that I knew nothing, that it wasn't a scam and that "you'll see"... I received this call from this number at about 9:15 today (Seattle area, Pacific Time) and I got an earlier call from "Unavailable" with the number 277-396-9786 yesterday afternoon. Same spiel but when I told her I knew about their little scam and that I was going to report it to the FCC, she just hung up. It is a VERY noisy call center in the background so they are trying to scam a LOT of people.
- Caller: Scam Call Center
- GoshenYep. To all of the above. If you don't know the phone number, let them leave a message. If they don't you have made a wise choice.
- Caller: suspected scam
- UnknownNo answer when I said hello. I hung up.
- Caller: Cellular
- MarieAll I know is they always call just as the baby falls asleep. I rush to answer and they hang up. I'm ready to jump through the phone and strangle someone
- JoeMost likely a scam. The caller with a thick accent identifies himself as working for Windows, says they are receiving errors from my PC and need access to it to fix it. Sadly, people still fall for this stuff. :( Last time he called me, I kept asking him questions about how he knew which computer was mine, etc. Finally I told him I knew he was lying because I didn't have a home PC. He yelled at me and said 'why are you wasting my time?!'. LOL. I said, 'Buddy, you called ME!!!'
- E. Mannioncaller claiming to be from Microsoft saying I had a problem with my computer. I told him never to call my number again. He had a heavy Indian accent. Wow! 2 scams in one day. I blocked this number and don't understand how it was able to become unblocked.
