I too had received such fraudulent calls on my mobile twice, first time from mobile number +919250209261 on 16.11.2012 at around 11.32am  and second time from mobile number +918006079506 on 21-11-2012 at 11.36an from from a lady Ms. Ragini Singh introducing herself Police Sub-Inspector from Delhi Police who knew my name and other details and said that she has an arrest warrant in my name for the complaint lodged against me under section 138 of negotiable instruments act for a bounced cheque. On reviewing the matter I was sure that the lady who had called up is falsely posing herself as Police Sub-Inspector and seems to be a fraudulent person since she wanted me to settle the matter financially to stop the warrant being served. Earlier too on 24-07-2012 I had received similar call from the same mobile number from a person introducing himself as Sh. Naresh  Yadav Police Inspector from Delhi Police regarding warrant under section 138 who too wanted me to settle the matter financially for not serving the warrant. Thus I am now confident that this is a gang of fraudsters who are into money making business by threatening the mobile users. I have registered a complaint with local police as also informed Commissioner of Police, Delhi about this matter and is awaiting their action.

I keep getting calls from people say they are calling from Microsoft, after telling them not to call again and remove me from their list, they just keep calling back. I get calls 2-3 times a day. They even swear at me when I get rude with them and tell me that will definitely be calling me again. This is harassment.
They call from all different area codes and phone numbers.
Is there anyway to get rid of these people from calling?

Yup! Depending on what your talking about for a phone!  landlines:  Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

For cell phones, some have call blocking features now, and for others you can do a google search and see if you can find a application for them.

I got pretty much the same call, but a few things were different. First, the caller ID said "unavailable," it didn't give me a name or number. Second, they claimed to be from "Geek Support Live." They knew my name which was kind of creepy, but I guess it means that they have access to phonebooks! Then they told me to go to "www.teamviewer.net." Of course, I first googled TeamViewer. It seemed pretty legit until I found an Apple forum about a Teamviewer scam. I told the guy on the phone that I forgot to put the ".net" part in and the forum popped up. I said it made me uneasy. He asked what the first result was, I told him it was "TeamViewer.Com" and he told me to click on that. I asked what the website did, and after a lot of questioning he told me it would give him remote access to my computer to find "not a virus, as Macs cannot have viruses. It's much more dangerous than a virus." I said, "One moment please." cleared my throat, deepened my voice and said "Hell Naw." and hung up. Moral of the story: ALWAYS BE SUSPICIOUS!

    Hi,
This is Shikha Chadha from New Delhi, India. My Company Name is - Evolution E Services

I am writing to you regarding a negative complaint posted by raju -- , April 4 2012 by an anonymous person as he is not willing to share his contact details.

He has not shared any evidence so I request u to please verify if the statement is true before you allow members to post such negative complaints about companies and people. This is so unfair when I am victimized  to such defamation without any fault or evidence. It is clear that this person is trying to mar my business reputation for unknown reasons.
So I would request you to please look into the matter and delete the post..

In my defense I would like to state that we never dealt in the call centre processes he has mentioned in the post i.e - Payday Loan with US.Grants (UK & US)
Secondly, As he claims he paid a huge amount of Dollars, and as he knows my company address & contact details, why didn't he file a police complaint against my company instead of writing such posts everywhere on the web..

Also why doesn't he share his contact details. What is he scared of??

I would like you to take action against this person ask him for his contact details and proof of his statement..  and please delete this post.. I can provide any evidence required in my defense. As I know I haven't done any of what he has stated.

If action is not taken by you , you leave me no choice , I will have to ask my attorney to contact you & you will have to face the consequences.
I hope you understand its a matter of my company reputation..

    Thanks
    Shikha Chadha
