I got a call from this number today and I don't answer unknown caller so I came to look them up to see who I missed and I hit this site

Called about 9:30 no one on line.   Why?  To what end? Makes no sense. I would assume they would have to pay for a LD call. The 211 area code if from Brooklyn NY

At 1:51 am today, September 27, 2009 we were wakened from our sleep by a phone call.  I answered and heard a recording which stated, "Hello, this is Jim White calling about the federal mortgage..."  That's all I remember before hanging up in anger and disgust.

This call came at about 4:46 AM, woke me and nobody talked after I answered.

called 2:00 am Sunday 27th.Scared the crap out of me. Thought something was wrong with one of my kids. Called ID said unknown name.

Got a call from this number at 3:21 a.m. on Sunday,27 Sept 09.

I got the call from 211-710-1680 at 3:21 a.m. on Sunday, 27 Sept 09.  The phone only rang once.  Like you, I could not get back to sleep.

Got a call from this number at 2:21am this morning, Sunday, Sept. 27th, and when I said hello there was no answer. See this is from Brooklyn, NY.  Hmmm...  Caller: Unknown.

I received a call from this number at 2:20am.  It was a computer message.  This needs to be stopped.

Got a call at 2:48 am on Sunday the 27th. No one was there. I'm going to call the number today.

This number called my house at 12:45am and woke me and my kids up. It took forever to get the baby back to sleep. When I answered the call it was a recording about mortgage rates.

like other posters, i got a call from this number in the middle of the night - at 1:21am.  hope with all these "reports" someone can put a stop to this.

I got a call last night on Sept 27th at 1:40am. I have a sick mother and do get calls in the night time. This puts panic in a person thinking I have to go and it is only a prank call or a telemarketer etc. Could not sleep and sick myself. These tyoes of calls have to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received call at 4:30 am. Caller ID stated Name Unavailable. First time ever received a call like this at this time of day. Scared the crap out of my husband & I both. What good is the "no call" list!!
