Called at 9:30 this morning. No message was left.

these idiots called us and couldnt speak english and i repeatedly told them i am calling policia and i was yelling policia 911 get it? to the phone aftr 5 minutes they said they understood and i said if they ever called back i was calling the police on them. it is a spam # don't take any calls from them. try to block them on your phones. they call all the time.

Claimed had to talk to Mrs "X" "about cleaning the ducts." Hung  up when I said, "Call the owner."

I received a call from this number at work.  The man  asked for me by name and said he was from the Department of Law and Investigation and that they investigate possible cases of fraud including identity theft, credit card, and check, and he was calling to let me know before anything goes wrong .  He gave me a case file number to reference and a call back number of 518-533-5340. The Caller ID read Doorway to Destiny 212-221-1111.  I have a friend staying in a shelter in Detroit, who recently called and this same "Doorway to Destiny" showed up on the caller ID.

got a call from that number, answered it and it was a recorded message from "Three Rivers Credit Union" telling me to press 1 to hear how I can get rewarded $50 to my account there. For one, I don't have an account there plus I don't give out ANY personal info. I immediately hung up after hearing that.

A friend called me from Guatemala, from her cell phone, and this number showed up in the caller id.

I got a call from 212-221-1111 NO ONE would speak once I answered it...so I quickly HUNG UP! One second later they called again (same thing happened & I hung up!) Then I got ANOTHER weird phone call from 573-04440 (strange digits, too many numbers, however, THIS number has called me 3 nights in a row) including tonight!! THESE HAVE GOT TO BE "SCAMMERS!" JUST HANG UP OR "REJECT" CALL!!!

Received calls from this number AND 502-534-64675 (note extra digit as sign of spoofed number) and 570-982-82
clearly a Indian or Pakistani call center trolling for Indian or Pakstani people answering as all they keep saying is something in Hindi and "Manu" - a nickname in India....

called me at least 10 times in the last 20 mins....

If you applied or called dish network for service or an inquiry online the company is selling the infomation or there may be a leak from within who is trying to scam you..(not sure yet which one is accurate) What am a positive about is that its related to the satelite cable company. I am in the process of finding out more and will post this info as soon as possible as i can dig more into it. DO INQUIRE FOR DISH NETWORK INFO ONLINE.

Heavy south-asian accent said name was "James" (unlikely) something about mobility services but I said no thanks and hung up. Area code is NY, NY.

I received two calls and the mans English was very poor with a heavy accent. I called 212-221-1111 and it was not a working number.

I got a call on my cell phone this afternoon from this number from someone supposedly named Gary Thomspon.  He had an Indian/Pakistani accent.  He said he was calling from Department of Law and Investigation/Cashnet.  He said I was listed as a reference on someone's account and he needed to contact them. He gave me a call back number of 707-340-2853.   Sounds like a total scam to me!

This guy with a Middle Eastern accent has called twice. Both times he wants me to know about Dr. Ryan, a chiropractor around 75th Ave & Bell Road in the Glendale, AZ, area, who is offering a free exam and x-ray. Either this guy really works for a Dr. Ryan and it is some type of scam or he does not like Dr. Ryan and he is trying to bombard him with patients. The second time I informed him I was on the National Do Not Call List and I asked him why he was calling me from area code 212; I asked him where he was and he told me he was on a golf course. So I called him "Bubba" and told him to stop calling me as his number was on my Caller ID and I would report him to the FCC.

got the call in Southern California....odd New York number.....didn't answser...

got called from this no.while on another call.When i called back the voice recording from the phone company said that it was a disconnected number.

I got called from this number several times a day too!. What I read from all the above comments, 212-221-1111 is a faked/masked number displayed on the caller ID, not a real number that they were calling from.
