Rec'd call 4.13 from Doorway to Destiny caller who said they represented Microsoft Corp. and wanted me to turn on computer so they could help get rid of some malware that my system downloaded (so they say) and will ruin my system. Caller was rather persistent, but when I told him I did not know who the hell he was, and doubted with his accent and command of the English language that he represented Microsoft. He told me if I turned on my computer and logged on to his website, i could confrim his identity. I simply reported him to Computer crimes unit of the NYPD and the FBI. Maybe the will pay them a visit.

received 3 calls from "Restricted number".  Phone company looked up the call and show that the number was 212-221-1111.  Must be spoof number, caller threatened saying I was calling his woman?

called yesterday, no message left. "Doorway to Destiny" sure sounds like a scam of some sort. First call from this number.

Caller called my house after 11 p.m.

I received a call from 202-684-6376 stating that I was awarded a $5000.00 grant from the US Gov't and that I needed to go to the nearest Western Union to wire 190.00 in order to receive the grant. I was asking questions and trying to get more information but they hung up. It was a woman who spoke broken English. I have received several hang ups from an "unknown"number as well as several hang ups from 714-464-8744 and 701-217-1089.

I Am receiving about 10 calls a day from +000000 and when I answer the caller hangs up. I have stopped answering.

Got a call on my cell from this number. I didn't answer and let it go to voicemail. Asked for an Allan and that they needed to talk to him urgently about a credit issue. We've had this call before but from different numbers.

No message, Caller Id says New York.

Unwanted call

caller is saying they are from WINDOWS or MICROSOFT the people calling from these #s are SCAMMERS!!

my husband is presently in Africa visiting his family for a month he is using a 2 different cell phones over there to call me from which are Africa numbers and they come up as out of area so i know its him. i also got 2 calls from doorway to destiny and 1 from gold label corp both with the same number of 212-221-1111 when i called it back it just rang and rang then nothing. shortly after that doorway called again with the same number so i answered it and it was my husband. he said it might be the companies name or something to do with the calling card he purchased in Africa to transfer minutes on the phone he is using in order to be able to call me. it also came up one time as a private number and it was my husband as well he said the phone/internet/ect connections are not very good at all sometimes i get through and somedays are very bad where i cant get through at all.

Just received a call from this number stating that my computer was infected and they needed me to log on my computer and they would fix the problem.  Stated they were working for Microsoft.  After a few questions back at them they began to yell at me and demanded I log on my computer.  Did not happen.  They got even madder when I told them to take me off their list and stop calling....finally had to hang up.

got call today from 212-221-1111, saying I had won thousands of dollars and would be sent to my address today by UPS......
I said I had not entered any lottery and he said it was from Walmart!  Very hard to understand him.
He quoted my correct address also.....I told him I could not understand him and he put his "boss" on the line to explain it to me.  He was just as difficult to understand.  He said he would call me back on another line.l.........never did!  What a scam!

I got a phone call from this number as well (212-221-1111) started to say that I had money from Federal Grants. I have had this phone call before, but from another scammers number. I told this guy that I was not interested and that I had this conversation before and was not interested....then,  He, with his thick accent, started yelling at me, Said he was going to take the check with my name on it and put it in HIS bank....I said Fine !!!

I'm gettting the call from this number continousely  , so I just want to clarify about the user of this number.

yesterday evening and night i got about 8-10 blank calls from +1111 ....no talking but can hear the background voices...when i try to call back it says an invalid phone number...who could that be ?

He said he was  from Ford Credit and wanted a cheque from us.  (All our payments are taken from the bank automatically).  I hanged up, phoned back this number and it was an invalid number.
