this number calls several times a day - everyday! we never answer.

Call from (212) 501-3400  No message. Untrustworthy source.

I have purchased tickets for 2 operas this year. I receive calls from this number every single day around 5- 6 pm. I spoke once and after i listened to all caller's reading he asked me how much i would donate today - i said i will not donate he simply hang up on me. Since then the calls are every day. I just don't pick up. It's sooo annoying and does not make me a better Met fan.

Caller ID said "Unknown." Reading the comments of others, and it would make complete sense for Met Opera fundraisers to be calling me. Called my landline at 6PM, during their weekly evening radio broadcast.

Called at 6:55 pm and left no message.

hang up. I have supported Met Opera so probably them. wish they'd stop calling my work!

All you have to do is go to the donation page at www.metopera.org, click on chat and tell them their outside fundraiser is annoying you and they'll gladly stop it.

Received a call from this number, answered, the caller stated my name, I responded, caller hung up.  Not sure what the point of that was.

They are relentless. Will keep calling and calling. Don't pick up.

I gave the Metropolitan Opera a donation and joined the Guild. They keep calling me over and over to get even more money from me. These calls are unwanted and should be marked as illegal on the Federal "Do Not Call" database.

Called my landline at 4:30PM Pacific. Didn't leave a message and Caller ID said "Unknown," but it would make complete sense for the Met Opera to be calling me to ask for a donation.

They called, no one there except lots of noise and can hear other callers in the background. Also can hear some opera music.

The phone would not hang up. I tried to hang up and every time i picked up the phone for nearly 30 minutes after they were still there. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and if you represent the MET OPERA then take note MET OPERA this is not to be tolerated. How would you like it if I call from a fake number and lock up your phone line. I had to keep shouting for nearly 30 minutes until someone put the phone down. At no point did any of the stupid selfish idiots actually say anything except to other people in the background.

When my line finally worked again I called back and of course  the number does not exist.

Called six times in last three weeks, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., left no messages when we didn't answer. I had gone through this before with them, most recently last fall, and asked to be removed from their call list. Didn't last long. Appalling behavior on their part, even if it is some outside service they have contracted.  Their number is now blocked and they have lost any future donations from us.

Call from this number on Feb. 26 went to my office voicemail.  Caller did not leave a message, but forgot to hang up, so I had a long "message" consisting of background noise and chatter from a bullpen full of people calling to raise money.

How many times does this number have to call?  They neither leave a message, or respond when you pick up!
Another ROBO call.  My blocked call list is already FULL!  Another WASTE of Time!

I get calls from 212 501 3400 almost daily. I LOVE the Met Opera, though I no longer go as often as I used to, and I have no idea how the Met got my number. I've never left my name/number there; always pay cash for tickets. Subscribe to Opera News, but ON doesn't have my number.  CREEPYYYY!

yo same experience- they dont leave messages or very short messages that are silent. they call at random times
