They call (constantly!) no messages...they hang up when I call back!  Clearly a fishy, scam #

Won’t stop calling

Dang, all those reports of a scam.

Said they were from the Pain Management Institute in regards to the pain I may be having in my knees and lower back...hmmm..I am not having any pain but it nice of them to care (lol).

I have true caller on my phone...I get calls but they are auto blocked. I have a lot of these type callers auto blocked.

Indian guy says my 37 devices have been infected with a horrible virus! (I don't have 37 devices!) The GEEK SQUAD can't fix my problems, but for a price, he can! I have 79,070 hits from foreign countries trying to steal my information! First he uses fear and then guilt to try to get me to agree! When things got heated, he said I could terminate the call at anytime, so I did.

this number started calling me at 11 a.m. this morning and so far has called 12 times! I don't answer random phone numbers so I have it on block but I can still see how many times it's called. I texted the number to say "give up i won't answer". Although I won't even open a text if they answer anyway. Definitely a nuisance caller. I am half tempted to answer it next time they call....

I don't want calls from the number or company or what ever it is ...Stop calling me NOW!!!!!

This is a message board for discussing spam and scam phone calls.  We cannot stop the calls for you.  Get a call blocker.

Hang up call.  Recognized the number from the last time they called (and hung up before I got to the phone).  Lots of reports of this being spam -- everything from "Apple Support" to "back and knee pain".   Caller ID says "New York NY". I hate spammers.  Lots of complaints on whitepages.com about this number as well as on here (apparently it's a spoofed number originally belonging to AT&T).  I HATE spammers....

I tried calling my phone company and they were going to CHARGE me to block numbers.  Apparently it "wasn't in my plan"....  This is Verizon telling me this, BTW.  Who is still mad because we got the guy in the Verizon store to sign a paper saying we'd get to keep our copper wire landline (for emergencies if the power went out) when we got FIOS.  We now have 2 separate bills -- one for the phone, and one for FIOS.  PLUS the cellphones (which aren't through Verizon).  And then they want to charge me MORE to be able to block spammers?  That's total BS.  Keep wondering if they're in cahoots with the spammers.

You can buy a land line phone that has call blocking.  Check at Best Buy and on Amazon.

Download the Hiya app. It identifies most fraud and telemarketing calls and asks if you want that number blocked. If you do block it you will not be bothered by that number again. It is free. I also usually add telemarketing calls to my contact list under the name of "telemarketing" so I will recognize it afterwards. The ideas given above to try to identify these scammers might also help.

Calls from this and two other 212 area code numbers, saying they understand I have back pain, in an Indian/Middle Eastern accent.  I tell them my pain is slightly lower ( in my ass) and that they are it.

Calls everyday, no answer no msg. Return call and no one picks up.

Called to inform that I qualified for a pain management device due to my having contacted them about back pain - utterly ridiculous!! Told them to stop calling me - we'll see!

Keeps calling, waits, does not respond, hangs up. If you dare (I won't anymore) to call back, they say this number is not accepting calls. I need to start doing that. Has called twice this morning, at 8:00AM and 10:00AM.

I have it set so my cell phone automatically rejects and does not answer these calls!
