Got a call from this number, guys name was MARK something with a heavy indian accent,
Said that he has some legal case under my name and my social. Also he had all the informantion about me my social, address place where i work n etc. I had a my lawyer call there a_ _ h _ _ es and turns they are bunch of [***] scaming people.

Been called 4 times by this number, first asking "I'm blah blah blah from ..., who am I speaking with.  My reply "if you have my number you should know who i am.... is this important?" His reply "Yes regarding legal reasons." Couldn't understand much more than that, very quiet Indian accent.  Left a VM but still couldn't understand a word...

I got a call from this number and they had all of my information and even cost me to lose my job. This is a scam and needs to be stopped do not send them mponey or anything that they are asking. Even though they have your information go straight to the police and have them handle this.

I work at a call center. I keep getting calls looking for a former employee. They refuse to stop calling and on the last call they said "f__k you and hung up on me. I am just going to have the entire center call them back, looking for this same individual. That should keep them busy for a while.  =)

I have been getting calls non-stop from this number. The guy even called my work yesterday.  I reported them to my local police station because my ID, debit & credit cards are missing as well.  I was informed these people are a scam coming out of california that the government is "supposedly" working on busting up.  I am keeping a call log of all annoying / harrassing calls from people until I can get my number changed.

I have also been getting calls non-stop for the past 2 weeks from this guy.  He has even called harrasing me at work.  I just laid into him and told him that if he is a legit company and has my information then he can send me the documentation in the mail.  Then I will be taking it to the police station because I have already filed a harrasment report against his company.  
He shut up right then and then asked if he could talk to my manager/supervisor and I told him no because he will stop harrassing me or the next time he calls me I will be calling the cops on him.

Lets see if he calls back.

I got a voice mail from this number saying if i dont call back and i quote " i will make your life a living hell"
i then called and said what company was this and they said this is not a company an when i said what is it then they said i dont know. i told them i am going to call my atternoy and they said and i quote " f--- your attoreny...

Hi, never received a call from this person but he sounds like an a**hat so here's a bit of info I managed to look up using the longitude/lattitude coordinates associated with the number. It's registered within the block of 700-798 S Grand Ave, LA 90017. I hope this helps any. It's a landline but the guy has removed himself from the public records however the police should have access to it. K, back to studying-_-;;

oh..and the phone number is held by peerless network of california, which is a robodialing firm. Most likely you'll have to subpoena this company to get access to him.

just got a call from this number, i've been scammed before and won't fall for it again.  i called the number back to tell them to never call me again.  some guy with an indian accent, never once mentioned "an attempt to collect a debt" he said it was to collect a payday loan, i told him i don't owe on any payday loan and to not call me anymore, he said "i will call your employer to get the money" i told him "if i you think i owe this money send me a letter with the original account number and the supposed amount that i owe, you can't send me anything cause i don't owe anything so don't call me again"!! i told someone (at another #) this a couple weeks ago and still haven't received anything....stupid a**holes!

I've actually been getting calls from this number all week. They told me they were from blahblahblah Law Firm and the guy said his name was ERIC WILLIAMS. I'm not racist but this guy was definitely no Eric Williams, he had a thick indian accent and told me I needed to go to RITE AID to purchase a MoneyPak to pay them, and told me NOT TO CALL THE LENDER BECAUSE THEY WOULD ONLY BE RUDE TO ME.. He then proceded to type up in a word document a fake "Settlement" bill and send it to my email. They actually scammed me out of 200$ cash, please don't call me dumb for falling for it but I had really never had this happen to me before so I didn't know what to expect or do. I had my best friend help me work through it - I know I was dumb to give them ANYTHING, but I have never been in trouble with the law and I didn't know what to look for - and we got the police involved. As soon as the police officer called the number, they demanded he give them his badge number as well as the place that he was representing himself from. after that he wouldn't let the police officer talk at all, laughed and said "You're not a real police officer" and hung up.
I would never wish this on my worst enemy. It really sickens me to know there are people out there that would do that.

Got a missed call from this number last night on my mobile.
Called back this morning from another phone.
Heavy [***] accent on the guy answering.
Asked for my name and I gave it.  Asked for my phone number at which I recieved the call and I wouldn't.
Told him "you called me, what's it about?"
Still asked for my number and when I told him he already had it because they called me, he complained "I am not a god!"
Eventually hung up.
I think I may call at random asking for Steve.  If everybody who has ever been called by these guys calls asking for Steve then the day one of us calls and says "This is Steve.  Any calls for me?" should be epic.

According to this thread, these calls have been happening since 2012.  Apparently what ever agency is tracking them has not caught them.  They call and say that there is a 'criminal' case filed against you and that if you do not respond, or have your attorney respond, they "wish you luck in prison".  It is horrible.  I think of my grandmother maybe getting one of these calls and being frightened.  Just makes me sick.  I have obviously reported it to the local PD, who said, "not much we can do".  I have blocked the call and I am posting this info everywhere I can.  Also, told all my family to block the number.  There should be a way to block this kind of 'terrorism'.

Just got a call from this number today and I can't believe this has been going on since 2012. Well If you're smart you will know that no government, law firms, and or collection agency will NEVER use a robo dialing. If they do call you, have them tell YOU all your information and YOU verify. Do not fall for this stupid scam.

Caller said a warrant would be issued for my arrest if I failed to pay.

Got a call today saying I would be sorry if I don't call them back on a legal situation. I said I never been to California from the 213 area code, then he hang up and I called back a couple of time no pick up. Scam scam scam I hate these people.

I received a call from 213-289-3853 on 5/17/16 at 5:01pm.  When I answered the call, the person didn't say anything and just hung up.  I received a voice message (without my phone ringing) from 213-289-3772 on 5/19/16 at 4:31pm. It was an automated message (not a live person).  The message went like this, "This is in reference to criminal lawsuits filed against you.Your case number is CH76295. The moment you receive this message, I need you or your retained attorney of records to return this call.  The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My phone number is 213-289-3772. Do not disregard this message and do return this call.  Now if you don't return the call, and I don't hear from your attorney either than the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as this situation totally folds on you.  Goodbye". Being a person that has received a few scam calls, there is NO way I can take this message seriously, and Googled the numbers right away.  I did not want to take a chance to call them back to even scream on them because sometimes you get charged a crazy fee for returning the calls of some scammers. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THESE PEOPLE AND DO NOT CALL THEM BACK!
