blowing up my phone today - I have not answered and they have not left a message

Got 3 calls from this number, did not answer no message was left.  Make it stop!!!!!!!

You should register your phone number(s) with https://www.donotcall.gov/ and then anytime you get an unwanted call after that just register a complaint at that same website I listed.  Hopefully if we all complain enough we can get something done.  I hate wasting my time answering calls from telemarketers.

Is there anyone out there that knows how to stop this insanity?

Have received numerous calls from this number over the past couple of months, never answering except for a couple of times. The scam is the same as what others described, caller saying I filled out an online survey (which I dont do). However, what I noticed both times I answered is that there was zero variation in the delivery... and Im not just talking about someone reading a script, the entire conversation sounded like pre-recorded stock phrases. If youre clever, you can make it repeat itself.

Moral of story, this is either a bot with some speech recognition software, or someone sitting at a soundboard punching one of a set number of response buttons.

This time a woman said I had participated in a survey and was going to get free gift cards sent to my email account. And for a processing fee of $2 they would send them.

Then they asked for my Credit Card number.

That is about where I ended the call.

I received a call from this number after going into a parenting site online yesterday afternoon. The parenting site was an association for single parents and there were certain things you could get information to help you with everything from "work at home employment, survey companies which pay for doing surveys--namely--Panda Surveys". Perhaps this will help one of you identify where the survey thing came from. The call which I answered this evening had no reply and when I said, "Speak or I shall hang up", a computer voice said simply, "Goodbye". I tried to call the number back and was told the number was not in service. Annoying is what this is to a busy parent between dinner and bedtime for a 5 1/2 year old.

I got a call from this tonight, but they hung up as soon as I answered.  Now I"m afraid that it was a call just to find out if my number was a working one, and as soon as I answered it added it to a list of phone numbers to call and annoy.  I'm glad I found this site to know what it was.

They probably make more money scamming folks then we get, getting screwed by companies that may way to little to live decently.

They've been calling me all day long. I finally answered and like y'all, it was about an online survey I did not take. I told them not to call anymore.

I have recieved multiple call from this number on my cell phone while I was at work.  I have not answered the calls.  It is listed as California.

Who uses the number 213- 330-2890.  They hang up when you answer.  I am tired of getting calls from these type of people.  They also do not leave voicemail.  If you do not leave voice mail I do not believe it is important.

I got 2 calls today from this number. No one there the first time. 2nd time took a while but I heard a beep and goodbye. I recently purchased heartworm meds from Canada. Wonder if that is triggering this.

I received a call from this number... same as other folks - dead space followed by a "Goodbye" and hang up.  The caller ID said "Five9 Inc." and when I called the number back, I was met with an answering machine in a young (twenty something) voice that said "hey leave a message, I'll call you back".  This looks like a rinky dink telemarketing project out of someone's home, if you ask me.

I received this call with a lady telling me tht i won $110 gift card for feeling out surveys. She was provoking me to enter credit card information on their website to receive the gift. At first I didn't realize it until I was asked for my Credit Card information. I'd like you to do something about this call and want you to make sure I don't any call from this number ever agin.

I have the Magic Jack and that's the number they call me. Where I am living my area code is different then what I have. I don't give out my cell number only to family, close friends and doctors. I do take surveys on line, I did talk to a person. I asked her where she's at, how's the weather there, if she had kids, like we know each other. Then she talks about a Walmart card. She talks about fees, I said just send it to my house, it will only take a postage stamp. I did not give her any info. I then asked her how do they come up with the numbers to call people, she said her boss is close by so she couldn't say.
In my opinion, I think there are people picking out numbers with area codes then just putting numbers down. Like if a husband and wife as a cell phone with the numbers the same but just the last number is different, he will call one and then the other. And will go on and on.
