Calls my cell number but no answer on phone when I answer.
this number has called my phone several time in the past 5 days

i'm getting very upset about this number. what can i do to stop this?

Holy crap!! I had no idea that this number was so popular! ( 213-426-2705)These idiots call me at least times a day, and say absolutely nothing, which takes minutes from me! And there is no way to block with my company or from my phone. I have had my number changed several times, so now what??? I finally have them saved as "dont answer", lol! The do not call list is a joke, I tried it. But this is rediculous, and who has the time to send e mails to several companies several times a day or want to use thier minutes up calling them back, cuz when I do it's always busy! ARGH!!! That's it... I'm getting rid of my cell phone.

Someone calls 2-5 times a night, but it is my office phone. It is just annoying.

they call 6 or 7 times a day and say nothing

Got a call from these people at 213-426-2705 and they stated that "They were from the government".  When asked what part of the government they stammered and stated that we applied for a government grant. We told them that this was untrue and we weren't interested in any grants and then they almost insisted that we shold take one.  Feels like a scam, smells like a scam.  Ya think, maybe it's a scam

I get up to 6 calls or more a day.They call all hours of the day and night.I would like to know how to stop it.

they call my mom and dads house every night 5 times a night even after ive yelled at them, threatened to sue them, they say my mom is interested in a grant? my mom is very sick, in the hospital, dad has cancer, he has to get up an answer the phone all the time, please get them to stop!

I just reported this number to the FCC in which I had registered my number with them for the Do Not Call registry in February 2008. The number for the FCC ( Federal Communication Commission ) is 1888 382-1222. Hope this helps.

I was called for the first time this morning. In reading some of the other posts I think I know why as well. I started to sign up for one of those getafreemac.com type offers. You know, where you fill out some basic info like address and phone # and stuff. Then you sign up for various offers. One of which is for a Govt. Grant. It didn't smell right so I backed out. BUT, they still got my number. That's why they are calling me. If yall didn't fill out something like that, and no one in your household did either (you should make sure of this), then someone else put your number in the telemarketers system. I stupidly did it on purpose.

I do have to laugh at some of the previous posters though. The ones who read the posts and then post something like "Someone keeps calling me from this number. It's annoying. Please stop." As if we all weren't victims of this thing. As if that company that does it is going to read these posts and say to themselves, "Oh, this is annoying people, let's stop. We will get all our scammy sales another way." As if....lmbo.

calling everynite and day constantly....the last call tonite used my name....not to excitied about that....very nervous ready to call the police.

Same problem as everyone else is seeming to have. They are selling "free" government grants. You should inspect your phone bill and credit card bills for small charges ie. $1.95 upwards. This is only happening on my cell phone.

Same as everyone else. I keep getting calls 5-8 times a day. When I pick up the phone it disconnects, whether I do or don't answer, it keeps calling, and I've tried to call it back, but it says a busy signal, Things are about to get messy...!

I am really getting sick and tired of these calls i got nine calls today and when i called back it sounds like a fax machine and i notice that afther i got a face book account which required my number to sign up i started getting these calls back to back some are even in the same minute this is crazy and i'm getting very angry
