i want to know who this person is they should be reported i think they have been calling and giving people emails about fake things and its just wrong.

do anyone know if this is really a scam ?? i got this but wanted to know did anyone follow through and did what they said?

Yes, it's a scam. Best to delete the email and move on.

People need work these days, and those looking for jobs are an easy target for scammers.

There is a special place in you-know-where for scammers like this who waste people's precious time and money this way.

I just saw another complaint about this scam on another board, and the complainant responded to the email with their local sheriff's office info. HA!

I got the same email and phone calls from an Office assistant Job on Craigslist.  Crazy, wonder what the scam is?

I applied for this assistant position on Craigslist and this dude Peter Gilbert is an idiot because we wanted to do all business via email so I called his so called australia number he sent 3 cashiers checks for $950 each with no return address on the envelope and a bogus half typed letter from his worker Emma Tomas.  ANYWAY!! DON'T DO IT! HE WANTED ME TO DEPOSIT THE MONEY ORDERS IN MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT AND SEND MONEY TO OTHER PEOPLE.  I SAID I WASN'T PUTTING SH*#! IN MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT HE HUNG UP. LOL SCAM SCAM SCAM

He has stated his name is tomas Dallas.  He has yet to reply to my question of his posting being a scam!  Jerk!

Hey this person is running a scam on craigs list with bogus checks. He sends them to you them wants you to cash them and send the money to him. Finally the check will come up bad and then you are resonsible.

NOT LEGIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I just busted him!  dont cash any checks from him!

I just got the same email in response to a Craigslist ad for a service representative.  He claims his name is "Bob Arthur" and the email came from boarthurb@gmail.com .

Don't take any of the money I did the same thing did what he asked u needed a job so bad I was taken for 2400. 00 please do not pull the money out of your account and send it anywhere or buy anything don't answer the calls or tell him you called the cops. Good luck and sorry
