Received the exact same call 2wice now from an automated 'Rachel' saying we've won a holiday in Cancoon. Clearly it was a scam, but I wanted to know how they had my phone number as it was a mere two months old. I called them up and told them to take my number from the dialling list. I asked her how she had got my number and her words were 'its a random list of phone numbers throughout the states'. I continued to challenge her where she became rude and aggressive. This is when I calmly said, 'we all know this is a scam, there are internet forums on your company and word is spreading quickly. The authorities have been called.''

Her response was ''whatever it is, goodbye Sir.''

fourvacations.com. These scum lie constantly when I have called them. Strange how they all have Indian accents but all have English sounding names. Many of them seem to have English Indian accents as well.
The fourvacation scum are working out of the same office as "MCSprograms.com" another bunch of con artists (or the same con artists). Check out their address's, whilst both most likely false they are using the same address in Tocoma WA USA. Some idiot at MSCprograms admitted to me that they saher the same office, I called back 5 mins later and his partner in crime told me he had never heard of fourvacation.
I must have called these crooks at least 20 time in the last 2 weeks. I can call the USA for free so it cost me nothing. I enjoy the silence I get when I ask a difficult question like "tell me the road names at either end of the road you say you are on"...they have never been able to answer that one yet. Google maps is a wonderful  tool for getting info on these parasites.
They claim to be in Orlando. But Dallas is a possibility. Strange the number is a Los Angeles code.
I will keep on digging the dirt on the scum.

Got a call today from "Rachel from the rewards dept" asking me to press 1.  The recording is on a loop, so I put the phone to one side and let her talk to herself.  She was still going strong 30 minutes later, but when I checked after 45 minutes, the line was dead.  Here in the UK, calls from the US do not show on caller ID.

We received a message on our answering maching yesturday.  It said "Hi this is Racheal from the rewards department we are trying to reach you. The entry form that you or one of your family members filled out has been chosen.  you have won, congratulations, press one to claim your vacation now. You will be spending 6 days on a beautiful beach in Cancun, and it's all inclusive.  So press one now and enjoy white sand and blue ocean of Cancun".

Who the hell are these people? How did they get our number?  Are we getting tracked and chosen some how?  Thank god for Google.  We would not have known it was a scam so soon other wise. Funny thing is, the message was on a loop, and it didn't start at the start, it started in the middle, so we've got a recording of it one and a half times.

    Thanks but no thanks Rachel!

I'm in Canberra (Australia), and I've had three of these calls from "Rachel of the rewards department" about a supposed free holiday in Cancun turn up on my answering machine over the last few weeks.  Apart from the fact that anything coming out of the blue purporting to offer you something like that for free is obviously a scam, it also ignores that Cancun really isn't on the holiday/vacation radar for Australians.  It's also annoying to be receiving these sort of calls when you're on the national Do Not Call register, and, as I understand it, recorded calls of this type are illegal here, anyway.

My lovely new friend Rachel calls me every day. Several times. So desperate is she that I claim my all-inclusive holiday that she NEVER LEAVES ME ALONE. Grrrrrrrrr. I knew it was a scam immediately, but wanted to find out more information. I knew I would find it here! :D

Caller ID on my 'phone shows <Out of Area> and 1471 tells me they "do not have the caller's number to return the call."

I am in the UK and fed up.

FOURVACATION almost did it to me today and tried to get GBP400 from my credit card - I was almost fooled by this lot; well spoken, knew my name and most of my card details already, knew I had 4 kids, and even knew how my name was set out on my card (and it is an unusual setting, as I have the initials of an honour I received from the Queen, after my name.
I was well into the process thinking they were my credit card company, when they told me that my card had been declined. I lost my rag then becuase, as I discovered from my actual credit card company, they were trying to take GBP400 from my card. Fortuantely my CC company had denied the payment becuase the name of the company Banctec seemed dodgy and produced alarm bells. They said I was the fourth customer today to ring and complain about these people.
Now they are just persistently ringing and refusing to leave anything on the answer machine.

    Stupid!
I received a call and thought it was too good to be true.  It was only when I said I have to call back that the call was ended from their side.  They gave me a couple of telephone numbers.  The one is a correct number but the other was a scam being 0208 150 2365.

I am now worried that my card details is going to be used by somebody.

I am based in the UK. I got a call from someone with an East European accent from Four Vacation. They didn't use my name: went straight on to say that because I was a good Visa or Mastercard customer and always pay my bills on time I have won a two-week holiday to Mexico, Orlando and Daytona. I said I hadn't entered any competitions and he said that it was an automatic prize draw for all Visa and Mastercard customers who pay on time (now I know this wasn't true because I missed some payments this year ;-))

He went on to ask which I use - a Visa or a Mastercard. So I told him I would call him back and asked him to confirm the name of the company and give me a phone number. He became very agitated and asked me why I was sceptical. I told him I wasn't willing to give out personal information to someone who had rang me out of the blue. He repeated everything he'd already said about me being a good payer, but obviously I knew I wasn't a good payer!

I was insistent I was going to call back. It was very difficult to get off the phone - he spoke very quickly and rarely paused. In the end he gave me a web address (unasked for) and told me I should verify something on there (www.fourvacation.com) - I'm not sure what I was meant to verify as his accent was very strong and I didn't catch it. I said no, and asked again for a phone number, so he gave me 0208 150 3665. I ended up hanging up on him because he wouldn't shut up talking and he was very agitated, assuring me over and over he was genuine and that I would miss out if I ended the phone call.

I didn't ring the number, but I did look up the website - it certainly looks official enough - but then I found this website so I'm very glad I ended the phone call!
