- The DoctorMy receptionist was asking me about the toner because the guy on the phone wanted some info. about our copy machine. I took the call and he said toner is a petroleum product and the price is going up 15% and was confirming an order. I said that I had not made an order and he replied "You're not very smart for a doctor" and he hung up.

- ChristineGot the same call today. Guy was totally rude. Wouldn't give me his supervisors name or #.
- AnonymI just tell them nice try and hang up before they can insult you. They are the ones with a dead end job, they probably cant help but get extremly irriatated when speaking to someone who has perfect english and a stable job. I cant believe their scams are legal. I accidently gave one person my model number and a few days later recieved toner for $600! We are not paying or returning it even though they contantly call us for it. Too bad suckers, can't scam us.
- Caller: Scam Inc.

- JackieWhen they ask for the model number, Have some Fun and make your day better, ask them if they are ready for you to repeat the model number and when you know that you have their attention, tell them it is F-U-C-O-F-F then hang up. These people are so stupid they probably will still be looking a their comp. screen long after you have hung up

- Michele replies to JewelI just got a call from this number as well regarding my copier- I know these scams well as we had issues in my former office. I tried to be polite and let him know I don't "think" we have a contract with your company, could you tell me the name again? His response was to tell me "you don't get paid to think." Oh really! Then what do I do all day?? I told him that I KNEW his company was a scam and proceeded to tell him to not call and stop bothering me with his nonsense... so he hung up. It's not my fault your job is scam people.
- LAW OFFICETOTAL SCAM...WENT BY THE NAME OF "TONY". Was supposed to fax me information so I could verify and call him back. I COULD NOT RETURN HIS CALL. THE NUMBER HE USED WAS 213-537-1910. I WAS TOLD TO NOT ACCEPT ANY PACKAGES FROM THEM. THEY CHARGE 3-4 TIMES MORE THAN MY NORMAL COMPANY.
He knew the type of copier our office has and our address. I am sure they had called and someone had already verified information and said to cal me back.
You need to advise your mail carrier that you have a package arriving and that it is part of a scam. You will need to write "refused" on package. Do not open or tear envelope off or the package is yours. ONLY write "refused" on same.- Caller: ??? Suplly Company

- enough!Received a call from "Ron" this morning. Would like to mess with these losers, but I have "real" work to do. Best way to get rid of them immediately is to ask the name of their company, which they will either never admit to or will lie about. Sad that these folks make a living scamming people.

- MechReceived two calls from a woman named Annie. First one, she said she was from customer service and needed the make and model to update their records. I said, what records are you updating? Then, she hung up and called back 15 minutes later like it never happened. When she started talking I interupted and asked if she likes lying to people. She paused and said "sometimes". I told her to have fun with that and hung up on her. What's with these people??
I get these calls all the time. One time I told the guy the copier number was "4". He hung up on me....I think next time I'm going to ask what a copier is and tell them I don't think we have any.- Caller: Customer Serivce
- Dawn HawkinsThis person called our place of employment ( a Catholic School) and i knew he was a sales person. He continually pressed me to give him the info or the person he wanted to speak to. When I continued to ask him for exactly why he was calling he said to me "You South Carolinians are so F---ing stupid! When I told him I couldn't believe he just said that to me he hung up. I called the FCC and placed a complaint. These people should not be allowed to use our phone lines to conduct any kind of business.

- Laura"James Taylor" called me and said I would be called tomorrow to verify my auto-refill of toner and it to verify that it should be $498 instead of $559. My company does not automatically send us refills on toner.

- RonI just got a call from 213-537-1910. Caller was female with a southern accent. The area code is from Los Angeles. She asked if my company was X? and I said yes. She next stated that she was updateing the copy machine information and could I give her the model number. I told her, "I don't think so," and she hung up on me. I could tell this was bogus. Good ending!
- MarloeIve come to look forward to these calls because they give me an excuse to be rude...Ive thought up all sorts of fun ways to mess with them when they call-which is about once a week. Ive never actually been cursed at...that would be a fun one! I called IKON, our supplier, and they said the easiest way to know is that they would never ask my equipment ID. They, obviously, have that info. She also informed me that they are filing a class action suit against "toner pirates", so any information anyone can get should be forwarded to them if you have it...Untill then, lets play ball!
- JeffCaller pretends he is Xerox representative and asked for copier model and/or serial number. Called both our offices. They then proceed to send a contract acting to send you toner. Deceptive practices - beware!
- Caller: Out of Area

- DannieSame as everyone else that has posted info about this number. They called twice last week and twice today. Caller is very rude and started calling me names when I asked for his company name and number. There must be something that can be done about these companies!!

- IT Guy| 1 replyWe also received this annoying phone call. I have instructed our receptionist to give them our local FBI office phone number, and tell them that was the number to our purchasing department.
- SteveMore needs to be done about this and TCAST Communications needs to start being held partially accountable. They are the ones providing service to these scams. They can easily drop them if they choose to do so. By them continually providing service they are just as much a part of the scam as the scammers themselves.
Please contact http://tcastcom.com and make complaints at 1-800-759-8227 even if they tell you there is nothing that they can do that is complete garbage. Their hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:pm (PST). Also contact www.FTC.gov & FBI Regional Office (FBI.gov).
I as well as everyone in my office knows better than to give out information. However, there are alot of people that I am sure fall for this and make this a profitable company. It needs to stop and you can make a difference. - JoannI just got a call. When he realized that I knew that he wasn't from Ikon he insulted me and hung up. I intend to call Ikon and let them know that someone from this number is using their name. The wierd part was that he knew my name and knew to ask for me. The name he used was David.
- CCICaller called asking for on Copier ID number. She advised she wanted to verify the lease. When I advised we don't have a copier with lease she clicked the phone.

- ArrgghInteresting process. They call, someone answers and gives their name. Then they call back and say that they received an order for toner for the copy machine. When you tell them they are a scam, they just hang up - presumably to the next victim.

- Erica replies to hford5302I own a small company called Complete Data Source, Inc. out of GA and I am not affiliated with that number at all. The number 1-213-537-1910 is a California number. I don't want their annoying calls to reflect badly on my business.
