Total scam say they are IRS which of course is balogna

Have gotten several calls from this number over the past few months.  Had my lawyer check on it.  It is a scam.

No message

Left automated message.  When I called was obviously a call center and would not identify themselves.  Hung up when I threatened to report them.

A recording claiming to be the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me. Recording gives a phone number for you to call back. I had been warned about this scam so I paid no attention to it but they have called a few times.

Have received at least five missed phone calls and voicemails from this number. Usually the numbers change but this one is identical. Total scam.

I knew this was a scam so I had a little fun. I started calling the number back as many times a day as it has been calling me and harassing the people that pick up. It's fun placing food orders and telling them fake stories about my day. The number has since been disconnected. I miss my friends from the "IRS" 😉

Many, if not most, IRS scam calls use spoofed numbers.  You may have been harassing an innocent person.

Doing that is just is just stupid and childish.

I wouldn't consider anyone innocent that answers claiming to be the IRS when I call back and asking for personal information used in identity fraud. Feel free to allow these "innocent" people to call you all you want. I got them to stop for a change.

Apparently your calls are coming from a number that was not spoofed. Many are.

Maybe his call #s aren't spoofed-but I stand by my post-I refuse to lower my standards to the scammers level. I'm not that "hard up".

Correction-I see Innocent was directed towards not Michael. Still calling unknown numbers back and harassing people is foolish, childish and just plain stupid.
