Keeps calling every day very annoying

call several times a day leave no message.  early morning to late evening.

The number comes ups as BBKB out of Los Angeles. I agree with previous posts, probably someone on VOIP using LA location for caller ID. Sadly, little legislation to prevent or even control this behavior.
Has anyone tried to get intel from these guys when they call by playing interested?
Lastly, anyone have an idea how they are getting our numbers?  I’m with Verizon and I’ve heard even they are now offering our numbers to sellers. Could it be a resume’ on a job board? I know those job board companies will do business with anyone, requiring little in the way of documentation, if they’ve got the money. I rarely put my number online unless I really know the service or they absolutely require it and will not do business without it (which is rare).

have been getting calls from this number at least twice a day.  Caller ID identifies it as BBKB.  Finally called this number back and got recorded message "unassigned number".  very annoying.

Answered call no person on but it sounded like a computer downloading I hung up quick!

Work 3rd shift and I get calls from this number twice a day and hang up, unassigned number when I call back. This is my resting time, need to block number

Careful:  Your Medicare number contains your Social Security Number.  A big step in identity fraud.

Block the number? This is a band aid at best. Who wins with this strategy? Your government is elected and paid by you. Flood your phone company, The FTC, and the FCC demanding they get rid of this spoofing of phone calls or just let the criminals win it's your choice.

I answered and the girl asked if I was Karen and I said yes then she hung up.

Received a call from this number. No msg left on answering machine. Caller ID was BBKB. I guess this was a spoof too.

Got 2 calls from 213-992-5922. They hang up when my greeting starts.
Caller ID only says "BBKB". Am blocking them right now.

Just called two times in 10 min. Said his name was Mark.... Had an accent. And said something about prescription. Knew it was a fraud. Same number.....I hung up.

Caller id read BBKB. A woman with a Canadian accent told me she was a rep for a medical supply company. Asked if I received medicare. I responded that I did. She then told me that she knew I had arthritis in my lower back and knees. I told her I did not. She hung up. Idiots. I'm not old enough to receive medicare! Scammers!

The foreign speaking guy said he was from a medical equipment company. He asked if I was over 65 and on Medicare. I foolishly said that I was. He asked if I had back or knee pain. I said I did not. He said goodbye and hung up.

Received one call so far.  I urge everyone to report scam callers to the DNC.  No, it won't stop all calls, but the ones we report might actually get prosecuted.
