OMG, I received a call from these people and could not believe how rude they were.  I hung up 7 straight times on them and they continued to call.  So I with on line to find out who they were and I found this site complaining about their treatment of others.  It is unreal how rude they are. Has anyone brought legal action against thm and was successful

Ummm... Nikki honey, I think you are outnumbered. You can give out info about the debts or you aren't getting ours. The golden rule will get you far in this life and you guys do not use it.

Don't worry about this. Texas law will not allow them to follow through with such threats. There are lawyers that are sympathetic to this and will help you.

I think the Texas Attorney General is handling that for you now.

I keept getting calls for someone named Gary or Jerry.  They ask for both. I get calls every day and have asked them to stop.  Just got another one.  Sometimes they will call back and block their #.  I am a female and have made it clear to them I am not that person.  But just like the rest of you, they will not leave it alone.

They are calling me for a "debt" I owe to Lighthouse Credit Counseling, but won't tell me for what or provide any paperwork.  I cancelled my contract with Lighthouse in 2002 and have not heard from them until two weeks ago when Anderson Crenshaw started calling me.  Indiana's statute on debt is six years, they are out of time, today are going to call my employer.

I just got my second call from this place - based on what I see here I will not return the call... the only name that looks familar to me is Lighthouse Credit Counseling which somehow got my info about 10 years ago and attempted to sweep from my checking acct which I promptly stopped as I was employed at the bank and saw the auto withdrawal as soon as it hit my account.
How can crooks like this continue to harass people??

I was called this a.m at 11:33am by a very uneducated slang speaking individual that said "I spoke wit u da oder day and yous tolds me that yous were POA over______, can U verifiy dis? I said sure thing, after disclosing the last 4 digits of thier social security number I was able to get the debt amount, whom it was from and he then said we are going to "SUE YOU CIBALLY"  For one..  I cannot and will not treat or talk to ANYONE that cannot speak in complete sentences IN PROPER ENGLISH, TWO, I told them he/she was termanal and has about 2 months to live, the reply was "im sorry to hear, but we better hurry then" The simpathetic ignorance of your company set the tone and I/we REFUSE to work with you EVER! THREE, PLEASE!!!  You read this and you know who the call is in reguards to  SO PLEASE SUE AWAY!!! I am retired and would love something to do to consume my time. Forth, I have NO POA, im not married to nor do I have ANY obligations over anyone that you described and disclosed information for and I have forwarded all the information I have over to my lawyer.  Happy CIVIL suit morons. You got a hold of an educated citizen that DOES FIGHT BACK. You'll lose.

this works even better if you have a mute button on your phone, since some phones are very sensitive and the person on the other end may hear even your breathing.  Good luck!!

I have had similar run-ins with these people. Please visit the FCC site and file formal complaint. These kinds of companies need to be out of business. They called family relatives to reach me and never contacted me directly. Claiming I owed an amount of $2375.91 (APEX Alarms) on the spot or face legal action. They tried to bully me into the payment, and made it seem like I had no options.

I called APEX Alarms(reputable company)and verified that I had a past due balance ($389) that could be payed and my account restored with service and all.

Maybe you need to reread their comments. They did not have any concerns about their account, they had concerns about your firm.

i have seen what anderson crenshaw and associates can do first hand first they stressed out my wife to the point that she needed to go into the ER she was in that much pain. second when i returned their calls they insulted my wife and my son. third they then told me they were having a "cease and desist order" sent for me to stop calling them however they still call me over and over sometimes 8 times in a day yet have never sent the order. when i answer it they hang up if i don't answer it they leave a message for another person's debit. fourth they have threatened to place a lien on my mother in laws property if i do not pay on a fraudulent debit. what do i do ?
