- kloie| 112 repliesThis was a fax number listed in a suspicious mailing telling me I have been chosen by a secret society of highly successful people who want to invite me to be a member of their secret organization and receive the "secrets" of success. the address on the mailing was:
PO Box 560627
Dallas TX 75356-0627- Caller: Unknown

- blahblah| 12 repliesThe only thing that I see that really strikes me as odd is that they aren't asking for anything in return. They just ask us to send the thing back in. They seem to want nothing. Can anyone shed any light?
- Vero replies to kloie| 22 repliesI got this letter today and decided to look on line. I read about a lot of people who received the letter but no comment from anyone who actually sent back the invitation AND ACTUALLY got scammed. I guess I'll keep on looking.
- Vero replies to blahblah| 1 replyI believe nothing's for free. You pay, one way or another Bro.
- nsa| 2 replieswell it look like if we all go a letter that is exactly the same length in pages it must be a scam why we we all have identical number of pages what I'm wondering is how they got our address and names?
- MRJ| 3 repliesI GOT THE SAME LETTER GOOGLED THE FAX NUMBER BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO LIST A PHONE NUMBER OR AND ADDRESS.....GUESS WHAT PEOPLE YOU ARE BEING CHECKED FOR LOCATION...IF YOU OWE, CREDITORS WILL GO TO GREAT LENGTHS...JUST TOSS IT IN THE TRASH AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR DEBTS.....BANKRUPTCY OR CALL THE CREDITORS DIRECT AND PAY THEM USING CASHIERS CHECKS.
- MRJ| 1 replyTHE OTHER POSSIBILITY IS THAT IT IS THE NOT SO SECRET SOCIETY. THE NEO-TECH....CHECH THEM OUT BEFORE YOU SHELL OUT ANY CASH.
- marketer replies to blahblah| 1 replyAs a marketing consultant, I can tell you that this is an example of the "principle of incremental commitment. If you respond, you must spring for a 44 cent stamp, which is a small commitment. Next, you might be invited to purchase something for $5 that appears to be worth much more - and so on, until they've talked you into buying their $1,500 self-help course, or whatever else they may ultimately be hawking.
- Joseph| 2 repliesI have just got the same letter, 8 pages! Something fishy about it for sure.

- Paster Ted| 22 repliesAs a matter of fact, it is not a phone number but it's a fax number mentioned in a letter sent to people.
The letter may be a spam from someone pretending to be John and who is familiar with some information on a book called "Neo-Tech".
The letter should be suspicious for the reasons I will mention below:
1. It fails the very first assurance it provided which states that "this is not a mass mailing; this letter came to you by first-class mail, not by third-class bulk mail..."
--- Since everyone else here is getting the same letter with the same content it is mass mailing to me.
2. The mystery man from Las Vegas is no mystery man. He is Frank R. Wallace, the author of the popular book "Poker, A Guaranteed Income for Life" as mentioned in the fourth last paragraph on page 4.
---Frank R. Wallace died in January 21, 2006. Check his wife's website and verify the information given in your letter. The website is http://www.drfrankrwallace.com
4. The letter sounds like a copycat of the Neotech Secret Society. It is a must to see the link below:
5. Read the upper half of page 4 carefully. It tries to convince you into worshiping money, power, control and romantic love.
---This can be a paraphrase of Matt 4:8-10 "then the devil took Jesus to the top of a mountain, and showed him all the world and its magnificence, and said to him, "ALL THESE I SHALL GIVE TO YOU, IF YOU WILL PROSTRATE YOURSELF AND WORSHIP ME." At this, Jesus said to him, "GET AWAY, SATAN! It is written:
"The Lord, your God, shall you worship and him alone shall you serve." - Paster Ted replies to Paster Ted| 1 replyIn addition, see also this link to decide whether it is a scam, spam, fake, etc or what ever you may name it.
http://www.genmay.com/showthread.php?t=588936 - skip replies to kloie| 6 repliesi also received the same 8 page letter, the most powerful word in the english language FREE, i'm sure these scammers from TX. know that, after all they used it in bold text 17 times.

- KEN| 4 repliesThis guy's name is John. I think he's JOHN THE BAPTIST, alias BARACK OBAMA.
- Stephen-another rare individual replies to Paster TedYes, I am talented and yes I would like to do better but as you said, the message sent is one of temptation. Get behind me Satan. God freely gives but it is no secret or secret society.
- Thomas81| 3 repliesI to have received this 8 page letter and am now searching to find out any kind of info on this secret society, and have found nothing about them other that ur comments and sceptic reviews on these people has anyone else found out anything else even Google maps searched them and they do have some building next to a couple of trucking companies.
