Some MORON called and left a message!! He said my name closely enough, by the rest of the message was TOTAL gibberish! Common, A_H, if you want to scam me, learn some AMERICAN ENGLISH!! If you want to scam me, show some respect!!

I've had several calls from 214-414-2855 and they never leave a voicemail. They call twice and no message. I try calling the number back on someone else's phone and it says " the number you dialed is not in service." How is that possible; unless the caller has a transfer system that appears to be in one city and most likely in another country. This is frustrating because I do not want calls from crooks, and I do not answer my phone if I do not recognize the number. Get Lost Jerks!

The number on your caller id is spoofed. That is, they use equipment that sends a falsified number to your your caller id, to hide their true location & identity. Its a common practice among telemarketing scams.

Wow, 18 pages of complaints in 4 months. Everything from insurance to student loans. Yeah, won't be answering this number! Thank you 800notes.

This recording just called me to offer me a "reduction or forgiveness on my student loans."  1. My loans are not past due (I'm still in school. 2. I'm paying on them now, which means that they're being reduced before the end of the note, so how could I "qualify for forgiveness"?  No thanks.  I have a reputable loan servicer who doesn't send me recordings.

Haven't been in school since dinosaurs roamed the earth. Student loans aren't an issue for me.

THEY called my cell....I don't delete messages..for this purpose....anyone knows me, will not call my cell...so called using landline with mW, blocking MY number..and ..to my shock ( BEING TOTTALLLLYYYYYY.  FAKE ABOUT THAT)..number was not in use.....One group called my about a bank account I closed back in 1999..(WAS IN GOOD STANDING WITH THAT BANK)..They told me, They bought my account...and were calling to collect.....I laught...and said...SUCKERRRRRR.....and theyyyyyy hung up..hahaha...SCAM....

Simply don't answer unrecognized numbers

They left a message: "Press 1 to be connected to a live operator & take advantage of this offer; or Press 5 to be decline this offer." Why wouldn't I just hang up?!

Just missed a call form this number. (it said 'TEXAS" underneath it.)

But when I called back - it said "you have reached a non-working number." What? 20 seconds went by .... Who allows this kind of thing?

This is a website to fight phone scams, not for a bunch of political nonsense. The people doing this are criminals that need no other skill than how to dial a phone. There's about as much chance of them being stopped as there is stopping people from robbing convenience stores.  If you think the Donald or any other politician is going to stop this you are seriously deluded.

Caller ID says Dallas, Tx.  Called several times in the morning, no message.  Seems from the other posts the caller uses a wealth of charities and rewards to lure info out of you!  This site is invaluable.  Thanks to all who post.

I just got a call from the 214 414 2855 number and tried to call back with no answer.   So I used the reverse phone number on the internet and found this page and lo and behold its a scam.... I keep getting calls for student loans and I am in my sixties.. Your entry was both informing and hilarious.. It made this old gals day!!!  As for the  Wounded Warrior Scam artists, they should be shot since our government allows this kind of disgraceful garbage continue...

Like everyone else, same scam call about a non existent student loan- added to auto reject list.

It never ceases to amaze me how  Americans  believe if you don't have a bloody student loan than how would anyone call you about it.  Think about it---- These blokes don't care if you have a student loan or are a little old lady from Pasadena---they are after you ID and anything else they can scam. So---next time do not answer and block the call!   Bollix!
