Thank you for the information. I put in this number, and couldn't believe all these complaints came up. I have been having the same problems with them. I just filed a complaint with the FTC. I suggest you do the same. They use a spoofing number that showed up as local for me. This is both a very old debt and not a valid debt. How ridiculous! Glad I looked this up.

they have called me two days in a row. I answered yesterday and they asked me if I was soans so I said yes. They tried to tell me I owed 10k in a credir card I never had. They called today and they asked if I was the person I pressed 2 to say no.
The charge was suppose to be from 2009. Never had the card or heard of the kind it was. They ar enuts.

This is a debt collection company that buys up very old debt.  When I say old, I mean debt that is over 7 years old, that no other debt collection company wants.    They are based out of Vegas, but a lot of times they will spoof the Called ID to show a number from your area so you will possibly answer.  Ignore them. How do I know this?  I worked for them for about 2 months after I was laid off my job.  Look people if you owe something that is very old like this, it's off your credit report anyway.  Bad thing is that if they talk you into sending in just one token payment, they can renew the debt and it will "magically" appear back on your credit report.  The tactics that these people use are way unethical. If they realize that they have a good number for you, they have a skip trace department that will start looking up your relatives and bothering them in an effort to get you to talk to them.  If you get a call with a computer message asking if it is you, and to press whatever number, Don't!   If you do, your nightmare is just beginning.  Luckily for me I found another job, and once I gave my 2 weeks notice, I spent most of my time labeling the accounts handed to me as "bad number" or "wrong contact number".   I just didn't have the stomach for this.

@me--nope because they can show they have business with you the DNC won't work on them.

@phone nut--I don't answer the phone unless I know who is calling. So they can use whatever number they want to try to "trick" me into answerin' not gonna happen. And I'm definitely not speaking to them even if they say who they are. If I want to talk I'll call you. They can send a letter. Any communication they can try to twist and hold you over a barrel. If they send a letter and want to settle then we'll go from there. And those on my CBR get priority. I only use my phone for work (work from home) so no one I would talk to has the number we're set up to dial in and do our calls that way.

This number calls several times a day but never leaves a message. Over a week, we get five or six calls, sometimes more. They are annoying; we don't answer calls when we do not know the caller. Figure if it's important they will leave a viable message. Fact that they don't leads us to believe they have no business bugging us or anyone!!

I get these same numbers calling me. I put a picture of a devil with a pitchfork on my phone. Titled it 1st National Collection Bureau from Hell. Playing a si-fi ringtone. I don't talk to the Devil anytime so many flags go off when they call.
