Called won't leave message

I got a call today. They asked specifically for the woman that owned the house when we bought it in 2008!  So they don't even care about the phone number, just the address, because the former owner did not have my phone number.  They must have looked up the address to get my number.

No message.  They call several times a day every day. Sometimes shows out of area and sometimes AHA. I do not answer calls I do not know.  Should be outlawed!!!!

Please let us know if you are successful getting calls stopped or suing them.  I've had several calls in the last 4 hours. They don't even wait for my machine to activate.

Actually answered this call today. Asked for me by first name. Asked who wants to know. Said name was Kelly & calling from American Heart Assoc. & wanted me to address envelopes to my neighbors. Told her, several times, I was not interested & to STOP calling. Have blocked this area code numbers numerous times but, again, they find a way to harass us.

This makes scene from what I've read. I made the mistake a few years ago by signing up with American Heart Ass.  Now they've been calling me for a month but want answer the phone when I pick up

Just got the 5th or 6th call from this number.  Have blocked them now  The name on the call is Am Heart Assc.  The search info on the number CID: SEAGOVILLE   TX. Left no message.

I just pick the phone up and then hang it right back up when I   see this number. They call 3-4 times everyday  and night.

Sandy said she works with a company for the heart association & said she is not asking for a donation but for 4 stamps so they can mail letters to my neighbors.  I told her I don't donate to people who bother me in the privacy of my own home & take my number off their list!  She asked me to confirm my number & I told her she has it, she called!  Sandy hung up!

CID shows TEXAS CALL. Don't know who they are so I didn't pick up. They left no message.

American Heart Association...told them I no longer will support them due to their telemarketing

That's the wrong phrase to use.
The correct phrase to say is "put my number on your internal do-not-call list"

Why ? Because the law says so ... but the more practical reason is that if they "remove your number" but later get your number again from somewhere else, they can begin calling your number again, because it isn't in their internal do-not-call list !!

I have been getting calls from this number and several others from the AHA.  I have told them and written them that I DO NOT want them to call me ANYMORE!!  They don't understand English apparently.

I have recieved so many calls that say they are from the same American Heart Association. It is not just the 214 506 7829 there are many other numbers that come up from TX that are the same thing when I look them up. I just called this number and asked them to remove me from any and all numbers they use for this so called American Heart Association. Lets see if they respect my wishes. They don't even use the company logo when calling your caller ID only shows the phone number and city state calling from.

Glad to see my frustration and annoyance validated.  I usually ignore these calls, but when I have answered, there is no person, no message and the call just ends; the technology of the call is either totally disfunctional or it is pure harassment and just another thing to distract and fracture our attention. Totally intentional, unethical, abusive behavior, and a violation of our privacy.

got this call today, I have notice when ever I give my phone number at medical doctor or hospital, the next day I get a lot of new phone calls, that a scam calls, the next time I go into the doctor, we will have a talk. somebody is selling phone numbers or they are hacked!

We got a call from this number again today at 10:32 am, and it was again blocked by our call blocker, which blocks all calls from area code 214. The caller ID has always been SEAGOVILLE TX. This is the fourth time these lowlifes have called. If interested please see my posts of 20 Nov, 4 Dec, and 6 Dec 2016. As I stated previously, they need to revise their robocalling software to eliminate numbers which block their calls.

Just called to request to be placed on their Do Not Call list and they were very polite, so you don't know if it really even is associated with the American Heart Association.  I told them I never donate over the phone when I do not initiate the call, and being called repeatedly over a short period of time just irritates anyone who might be willing to donate otherwise and to pass that on to whoever thought this was a good idea.  They apologized and said they understood.

This number keeps appearing on my caller ID when calls come in identifying it as a "Home" number when I know it is not someone's home.  I am registered on the "Do Not Call" registry and cannot figure out why this one keeps coming through.
