- giving upAfter having a horrible experience with a bunch of young idiots at an office run by an overweight woman who ripped people apart the minute they sat down. My daughter was once again scouted by Wilheminia of PA. This "Open Call" was a joke! I guess if you really want to make it in this field you must go to NY ...where they do not charge! I get it you have to pay for pictures but if they do not give you a list of photographers to use run the other way.

- Not fooledThe reason she is so aweful is because she is miserable and is with a guy who abuses her daily. His abuse goes beyond the homefront and into the office and the reason they only hire children to run their scam is because those are the only fools who fall for it! Only ugly fools hoping and praying for a chance sign up for this crap. And the only success stories are straight boys turned gay by there evil gaylord Ryan Colby....RUN!

- Please do not be fooled by this SCAM!This is a complete scam! I was almost fooled by this company and their requests to leave ridiculous deposits with them. I was approached by a lady in the mall and invited to an "interview," which I attended and which seemed very legitimate on its face. I was then invited to a "second interview" where they essentially inflated my ego and called me a "rich kid." Then they asked me if my parents would be the ones paying my deposits to them. At this point, I expressed shock and said that I did not expect to pay any fees because agencies are never supposed to request payments, but are only supposed to take commissions. The interviewer instantly flipped and turned hostile, incessantly requesting that I make a payment right then and there; pressuring me and threatening that the "deal" was only good that one day. The fees? They were $595 for the "deposit" and $1,295 for the "New York Event." I was SHOCKED by this request and saw the red flags go up immediately. When I told the interviewer that I would have to think about it, she became extremely rude and made remarks putting me down and pressuring me further into paying them the non-refundable amounts.
I am SO GLAD I did not pay them a cent, but I am extremely disappointed that they wasted my time and attempted to scam me to such a degree. PLEASE READ THE THOUSANDS OF OTHER WARNINGS HERE AND ALL OVER THE INTERNET OF THIS SCAM! This company should be ashamed of themselves for committing such fraud. Not only is it disgraceful in that it takes advantage of aspiring individuals, but such fraud is also highly illegal. PLEASE do not fall for this horrible SCAM!- Caller: Kaback Model Management

- Amanda replies to BelieveRead verified and credible reviews on ConsumerAffairs. The company has been established for over 8 years - the CEO has won 36 Awards and has a book being released co-authored with of 45 of the most powerful people in the entertainment industry. This is the equivalent of considering Anthony Robbins a scam or Ferrari - just because someone can not afford to invest in their career - it is easier to say people who are successful are not legitimate because that charge for a honest service that is more valuable then the money invested. I have worked very hard all my life - no one supported me nor did I ask for handouts - I put myself through Yale Drama School and because of the company have seen more opportunities to excel my goals in 6 months - without this service I would have spent years. Time is something more valuable to successful people - it is something you can not replace.
If you are afraid of success move on - there is a reason why this company is recognized and endorsed by honest successful people - the ones here complaining - all seem to be cut from the same cloth - struggling and uneducated how business works.
http://www.consumeraffairs.com/business/the-it-factor-productions.html - Anonym| 1 replyEverything everyone says about this being a scam is true, and I was dumb enough to fall for it. I had applied for a position at the It Factor Productions through indeed under sales and marketing consultant. About an hour after I applied I got a poorly written email from a man named Michael Fomkin. Michael invited me in to apply for the position. I thought it was weird that he said any time or day would work for him (being they were a busy talent agency).
Stupidly I went to the interview. When I first walked in, I was crudely greeted by the nastiest secretary on the planet, who told me to sit down and fill out an application. I didnt think anything of it till I saw what she handed me. The first paper was a simple application with a name and address and some questions. The next as weird as it was, was a test concerning their website and "talent". Well, no one told me to prepare so I didnt fill out the test (and I was specifically told I would not be allowed to use my cellphone to help with the "exam). On top of that I was given a script which was weird because I was there for an interview not an audition. The script, was a miswritten mess of testimonials from the "owners of the company".
I then went into my interview with Mike Fomkin. I will say they did a good job designing the office to look proffesional. They showed me their "game room" filled with untouched arcade games and candy machines. Next after that was a "sleeping room" where employess could rest in case they got tired. I was then brought into the back where 4 girls sat in chairs like zombies in a dark windowless room. After my tour I was brought into Mikes office. Being I have been in the music industry my whole life, I knew this looked weird but I continued with the interview. Evrything was okay he asked me little about my background and skills and then continued on to boast about the company. Saying id be able to attend the grammys on a private jet if I wanted to etc. Towards the end he explained that I would need to bring in interns, for the company up to 10 a week! He then said the pay would be $400 for training and then $800-$1000 once I started full time. While we were talking a couple of red flags caught my attention.
1. A man in the music industry did know who Mick Jagger was
2. Mike said he skyped with Martin Scorsese before I got there but then made a slip and told me his computer was broken.
3. He told me they used a software called "wordsumo" and I know this does not exist.
4. He told me he had lunch with the man who "started the Grammys" who has to be in 80s by now or possibly not even alive.
At the end of the interview, I asked him what my position title would be and he said i dont know "president of social media?" What do you want, and he said how bout "director of talent services" and I stupidly was excited over that title only being 24 and being a director.
Just dont fall into my trap, once you hear from Mike run, run as far as you can. So many companies are just big scams and this one is the king of them all.
Hope this helps and warns those in the future. - Wow replies to AnonymThat description sounds like the one where the fat girl was kidnapped by aliens wonder why you are unemployed

- Liz| 6 repliesSome Agency for Model scouting left a message, said my daughter pre-qualified and if i give them $500 for an entry fee they guarantee her success. There are too many posts to read here, i cant make heads or tails of all the nonsense. So i guess i can assume on my own its a scam of some sort.

- Resident47 replies to LizYou should sample a few pages regardless. The stories could teach you something about audition and talent scouting fraud. Speaking generally, nobody's children are deemed "good enough" until their parents unzip their purses for dubious promotional and training services. If I recall well, Ms. Kaback has a history of burning through business names and carries a long tail of complaints.
- Mommy Dearest replies to Liz| 4 repliesThey gave you a gurantee over the phone for your kid to be a model if you paid 500 and you didnt do it. Wow you stupid lady you could make mad stacks of cheese yo
