- AndreaThese people are the most unprofessional people I have ever met in my life. Keep your family away from their offices. It is all smoke and mirrors, nothing good can come from dealing with these people. Kaback model management is a scam!!!
- Wasted $$$| 2 repliesI'm not going to sit here and bash her the way others have. What I can say is the simple truth about what happen to us. We wasted thousands of dollars and got absolutely nothing
- Chased out of Philly replies to Wasted $$$You'll be happy to know they got thrown out of Philly! They have there crap hole over on street road and the #Colbyscam of course. They also got thrown out of steiner sports. Stay honest my friends
- Tracy1215 replies to Doug| 2 repliesIf your talking about Blu Hipp being someone they hired to write good things about them, your wrong. I was at the networking event and met the duo Blu Hipp. The summit was worth the money. This company is far from perfect. But I truly believe MIss Kaback believes in what they do. Truly wants to help people get their foit in the door. I've known this company to be around for seven yrs. really, if it was a scam, don't you think it would have shut down by now. My daughter was scouted over two yrs ago and has been working consistent ever since. But life has no guarantees. She doesn't get everything she casts for. I invested in my daughter and it paid off. They can open some doors for you. To walk thru. Open your minds. Not everything you read is true. If you notice all the scam reports are mostly from former scouts that probably didn't do their job. I talked to my daughters scout. It is a commission based job. Don't scout and do your job, don't get paid. That's the way it goes with commission paid jobs. No one twisted your arm to stay. I'm so sick if hearing the same people say the same crap. My daughter got scouted, she signed, we paid for her marketing fees, she's working. We had faith in the company and they had faith in her. Maybe if people weren't so cynical, there would be more success stories being told
- Resident47 replies to Tracy1215} This company is far from perfect.
Certainly. A perfect scam would have employed convincing shills.
} I truly believe MIss Kaback believes in what they do.
I truly believe Ms. Kaback believes her own sham publicity. I believe her operation runs on belief, false hope and self delusion to be precise.
} Truly wants to help people get their foit [sic] in the door.
.... yet her starry-eyed clients are led to shoot themselves in the foit, get their foit run over, drained of their money until they have only the shoes on their foit .....
} They can open some doors for you. To walk thru. [sic]
... to the Department of Labor and Training, the welfare office, the homeless shelter ...
} My daughter was scouted over two yrs ago and has been working consistent [sic] ever since.
I'm sure she lives comfortably on tips at the pancake diner.
} if it was a scam, don't you think it would have shut down by now
Another appearance of the 'Instant Justice' canard. Kaback has changed business names the way others change their underpants. Sales schemes like this survive for years by blaming their victims for "not trying hard enough" to fulfill unrealistic goals.
} My daughter got scouted, she signed, we paid for her marketing fees, she's working.
I know you enjoy your parallel universe where success in the entertainment industry follows a straightforward formula of handing over money to self-appointed and uncredentialed coaches, scouts, photographers, and fixers. Meanwhile, wanna-be performers have to deal with the dysfunctional and fraud-attracting industry we have, in which all the money in the vault can't substitute for hard work and smart management in the long term.
} Maybe if people weren't so cynical, there would be more success stories being told
Maybe if people are more skeptical, there will be fewer fake testimonial success stories being told. - MITCHELL replies to renei went for an interview and she said that you have to do networking on a site to get jobs . That was okay
The next thing she say is I have to put up 795 dollars and i said when and she said now.
I said i do no have that kind of money now , can you put up 200 dollars
Basically you had to put money before you walked out the door.
I walked out the door - Colby model replies to hello| 2 repliesIt factor and Colby modeling is indeed a scam and if you see comments telling you otherwise it's just the lowly workers that work at that leech of a job. I was approached then got an appointment, was told to put down 795.00 for professional shots, and 2000.00 for a trip to NYC so I can meet people who might book me. I replied ok I'm college student if I had money do you think I would be here to chase a pipe dream? She then went on to tell me I needed to invest in myself and she sees a lot of potential in me. So I asked how about you invest in me now and when I get more money I'll pay it back. The same offer they basically gave me, I was denied and was told to leave. To this day, two years later I still get approached by these scouts who don't even know why people are being scouted, it's to scam parents and other people out of their hard earned money for a lie and a smile. Stop calling me and stop scouting me alycia kaback is a scam and her whole company is faker than barbie's dream house. If you reply to me and try defend it factor then no doubt you are from her company cause even someone who has made it with her help wouldn't even look at this page. Please people she has paid google to hide all the other pages to hide her scam, what modeling agency does that? If you're reading this, alycia I don't like you or who you and there's nothing good or right about what you and your people do.
- Colby model replies to Blu HippWhy are you so full of it? You enjoyed throwing away 2000 dollars to go meet some people who didn't book you or take your information. If I wanted to learn I would just use that 2000 towards my college classes. Jesus, you people are really doing this, actually going on sites to pretend to be satisfied clients. How low can you go? I wish I could see alycia in real life, I always wanted to see what the scum of the earth look like.
- Colby model replies to The one who knows a lot more thann mostYou sir are an abomination, for you to try to scam people by telling them their kids have what it takes to be famous then you rip the money and the dreams of the children and their parents and you dare come up here and post this nonsense?! I should punch you in your face, I hope you know what your doing isn't right and someday you will pay.
- RpScam. It's a Shame I trusted them . I should of new better when they said they needed $800.. For what ?
- Washed Up!They can't even get washed up actors anymore. Now they have washed up wrestlers! How the heck is a 1980's wrestler going to get you a job in Hollywood. They have these overweight losers singing autographs ctfu😂 their probably happy to do it for free just so that someone remembers them. #alyciakabackscam

- Help replies to scoutI'm about to be a scout there ... What am I in for?
- lovexoxoA few nights ago I was on Craig's List looking for some casting calls/auditions just for fun. I use to act/model a few years ago but I am not trying to seriously pursue the acting/modeling industry now. I just have a lot of time off in the summer and thought going on some castings/ auditions would be fun! Hell, why not? I saw this Ad on Craig's List that said, "Extra Work & Speaking Role CW new show THE HUNT Males & Females needed". I applied, it took two seconds. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? The next day some lady named Robin called me and left me a voicemail saying, "Hello, this is Robin, I am the casting director for The It Factor Productions. I saw your application & photos. I am calling to personally invite you to a casting I am having tomorrow. Please call me back if you can make it." I listened to the voicemail and thought, ' wow I can't believe the casting director called to invite me herself.' I know some of you may think I am naive for believing the casting director actually called me herself, but a few years ago another casting director from another well known, credited casting company invited me to a casting he was having for a commercial , I went to the casting and got the job. So I did believe her voicemail. I called her back and she sounded like she was very interested and told me to come the next day to her casting and that she personally wanted to meet me. She also told me her assistant would email me the address. Once I got the email from her assistant, I asked what exactly was the casting for? The assistant emailed me back saying, "the casting is for The Hunt, a new show for CW." When I arrived I signed in and told the receptionist I was there to speak with Robin. She told me Robin was in a meeting and that I would be meeting with someone else. I told the receptionist that Robin specifically called me herself, and I was willing to wait until she was done her meeting to speak with her. Literally 5 minutes later this lady comes up to me and with her emotionless, monotone voice tells me to come back to her office. I told her I wanted to meet with Robin and she told me she was Robin. She proceeds to ask me, "what brought you here today? How did you find out about us?". (I knew it wasn't the same person who left the voicemail. Her voice sounded NOTHING like the one on my voicemail. This lady had no idea who I was or why I was there.) I simply replied, " I am here because YOU called ME and invited me to a casting." She played off my comment because she didn't know what to say because she wasn't Robin. She told me to practice the monologue she gave me and to come back the next day to speak with the CEO of the company. I came back the next day and met with the CEO, Alycia Baback. She told me if I qualified for their commercial print division there would be a fee of $700.00. I told her I was only there for the casting of CW's new tv show The Hunt, I was specifically invited there to cast for it. Her exact words were, "I can submit you for it but you probably won't get pick. There are thousands of people casting for that." She continued to tell me about the two event packages she has to offer. The package includes head shots and access to an event in NYC where you supposedly meet directors/managers/ actors in the industry. There are two packages to choose from, $1,700 or $2,400. I said, "you didn't even ask to hear my monologue. Don't you even want to know if I have talent?" I knew it was a scam but was trying my best to keep my cool. She continued to try talking me into forking over $700. I told her I wanted time to think about it and I would let her know. That was my professional way of saying, please leave me the F$%# alone. She then got aggressive and told me I needed to decide now. It was now or never. If I couldn't decide right then and there, then she would put me on the 6 month waiting list. I kept saying I needed time to think. She told me I needed to put a deposit down before I left or to just forget about it. In conclusion, I have been pursuing acting/modeling intermittently since I was 2 years old. The lady named Robin didn't exist, it was just a tactic they used to get me in there. Its a strategy deceitful people use called the bait and switch. Never in my life have I come across anything like this. Alycia Baback must have been a used car salesman in her past life because that is exactly what she sounded like. Not to mentioned she used the F$%# word in every other sentence. I don't know how someone like her can actually live with herself, scamming people left and right. Alycia Baback has 27 pending complaints and is NOT backed by the Better Business Bureau. FYI, The It Factor also goes by many other names; VIP Talent Connect, Kaback Model Management (KMM), Colby Models and NYC Women's Empowerment.

- VIP Talent Scam| 1 replyPlease call this number or email to protest this event. They are planning on having an event at the Scholastic Center. They were banned from Caroline's because they have scammed so many families. Do not let your family be next. We got ripped off at the last event. Nothing but no names, no connections or anyone you would even want your children around. In addition to the many law suits they are trying to defend themselves against they have shady characters talking to children at this event. #scam #alyciakaback #viptalentconnect #scholatic #alyciakabackscam
