They keep calling my cell under about a dozen different numbers. Each time they call form a new one that I haven't seen, I save it as "telemarketer 1, 2, 3, 4, etc." and set that contact to "no ring" on my cell. That way when they call back using the one of those numbers, and they eventually do, it never rings or even vibrates.

Lots of calls (at innapropriate times of the day), never any messages, and I don't even have an account with Capitol One.  Have asked them NUMEROUS times when I actually answer to please take me off their call list and it never happens.

I have been getting this number calling all the time. Everytime they call it goes to my voicemail and no one say anything for about 30 seconds then they hang up. Friday Norning I did hear whoever on the other end talking about the Tiger Woods B/S on my voicemail.

They have called me several times (around 4 or so) a day for the last few days, everytime I have been unable to answer my cellphone. Then at 12:45 am they called ans left a VM, saying that I need to make a payment on my credit card. I do not have one through them, not that I have any, and am beginning to wonder if it was the previous owner of my (well my new/current) phone number. It is really starting to piss me off!!

I get the same messages about opportunities with Capital One. I do have a small credit line with them and it is paid up. Because of the calls, I will cancel the card. They call constantly, from early morning until late night and I don't mean 8 or 9 p.m. My husband  has been working a lot and needs to sleep but the phone jars him awake all the time and it's Linda or Wanda with opportunities. When I finally did answer, no one was there. This is maddening. Good bye Cap One and I will write them to stop calling. I can't believe how many times they call every day!

I get a call everyday from there and get the same automated voicemail from "Linda".  I really want to fly there and smack her in the face.

It's capital one alright..  Mis-read my statement,, thought the payment was 90 bucks,, I paid 100.00  two days early electronically, but I looked at the wrong thing,, it was 135.. they tacked on 59.00 in fees and I went ballistic on them,, found out that they are calling from Bombay India..  had a hard time understanding them asked for someone that spoke english.. wasn't any better,, I got ticked and said I need to speak to an american in america.. they hung up.

A woman called back, but I wasn't home she left a message saying she wanted to help me,,  she sounded american so I returned the call,, got the Bombay people again,,   same ole same ole.. I sent in the entire amount I owed,, closed the account,, now they are calling me asking why I did that...  Gheesh..  how freaking stupid can they be.....

Three times on Sunday morning within one hour. Didn't bother answering. I made payments every week and still they found ways to add service charges and late fees. After two years of paying I'm still where I started. I'm not paying any more. It can go to a collection agency. Screw my credit rating. I don't need it.

This is supposedly CapitalOne calling to offer options for making payment over the phone. They have called me every day at least three time and sometime six times each day in the last month. II usually let the voicemail answer and they leave an automated message form "Linda". Today I answered the number to get more info. Guess what, its not Linda. It was a guy who sounded like he was from India. He knew some personal details about my CapitolOne account and wanted me to make payment with him over the phone. I told him that I make my payments online and that I wanted him to take my cell phone umber off his list. He immediately hung up on me.

they keep calling me and wont stop. i tried to call the number back because sometimes you can get placed on a do not call list. it is really annoying. and there is no one there on the other end of the phone

they call me twice a day and when i answer i get this indian guy asking me to pay a eroneuse balance that is not mine. I have qan account with cap one but the acccount they want mr to pay is not mine [***] when i tell them to stop calling they apologize then call me the next morning. [***]!!!

I received a call from a gentleman on saturday afternoon.  The gentleman with a heavy accent, told me we were behind on our credit card payment and he tried to get me to make a payment of $28 over the phone.  I discussed this with my wife, who said she paid the bill online, 7 days prior to this call.  The caller had my account number and name.  Since the payment was not due until the following monday (two days after the gentleman's call), my wife called Capitol One to verify receipt of the payment.  The female representative told my wife the caller was NOT from Capitol One and we were not behind on our payment.  She told my wife it was a SCAM.  Since I did not give any informaiton to the gentleman, it was decided that the account did not need to be changed.

Received a call after 9PM saying I was late on a payment, but never was. I told him I made a payment online and he apologized and said, "oh yes, I see the payment". Apparently, online payments don't show up in their system right away and it takes a few days on THEIR end? Maybe they should check to see if there's been a payment before calling to harass me. How annoying!
