Only # appears on caller ID. If no one pics up in 2 rings, they hang up. This is an Ohio area code. I don't know anyone in that state (personal or business). Get repeated calls. Have never answered.

Answered call (I have people in Cleveland) -- no response -- no message. Blocked.

Called and did not know caller so I let it go to voice mail. Never left a message.

Called while i was in the middle of webex meeting using my phone and the meeting sound cut out so I had to shove the call to voicemail to get my meeting back online.  There was no message and they never called back.  I don't know anyone in this area code so .... blocking contact.

Same story as everyone else. Call was allowed to go to voicemail on my cellphone because I didn't recognize the number.

Answered as I am waiting for a call and thought this might be it. After a delay a recording started of a "Jennifer Malone" from a student loan help organization. My student loans were paid off nearly 15 years ago - and I didn't have this number when I had them. So clearly a spammer.

I answered. It was a robo call. Press 1 if you have > $7000 in school loan debt. Press 5 to go on our do not call list. My dumb ass pressed 5. Ugh.

Why do I receive these telemarketing calls when I have registered my phone with the do not call registry.

Well, you get the calls because the callers are basically scofflaws or criminals who ignore the DNC list.  Invest in a call blocker and do not pick up on numbers you do not recognize.

Received a recorded call about my student loans and I could save 60% on my loans press one.  A lady answered stating she was here to help me with the student loan forgiveness program.  Lots of background noise and hardly could understand her.  They hung up on me.
