student loan scammer. Pressed 1 to speak w/ someone and an asian lady answered and when I asked to be removed she hung up.

Student loan robo-dial scammer, I'm on the do not call list and never had student loans. They've been added to Mr. Number call blocker.

I simply do not understand WHY anyone would answer an UNKNOWN call from a distant area code - let alone call the number back - or press any number to speak to anyone!!!  Is your life that empty?
Folks - it's 2016 - you bought an answering device years ago.   It's now time to purchase a call blocking phone or a blocking device that can block entire area codes.  These devices are inexpensive and they work - we have both.
The call came in to my cell # - didn't answer - have now blocked - end of story.

I was just thinking the same thing.  Don't understand why anyone would come to this site and not read the notes.  I keep getting unwanted calls several times a day and unless I really know who it is (like a Dr.'s appt. reminder or a friend) I don't answer phone and let them leave a message.

# has called at 8am 5 days in a row. I picked up 2nd morning and I was immediately hung up on. No vm msgs left on the other calls.   Aren't scammers just freaking GRAND ???

I just got a call from this number. It started out with a recording about how I could reduce my student loan debt.

No message - Just called my number at 3:43 p;m. on 1/18/2016 - I did not answer

These scum bags are robo calling everybody hoping someone out there will be foolish enough to fall for their scam. Block them!!!

These are free google phone numbers they are using so they can't be traced. Don't know how to notify google so they be terminated but all they will do is generate another one in 2 minutes and they'll be on the air again. Sometimes you just have to hang up and carry on.

Actually I think it is quite fun answering these phone calls. The person on the other end thinks they are scamming me but I'm making up false information to screw with them and they get so pissed off.

The FCC is currently the only thing standing between us and Cable monopolies bundling websites behind paywalls and throttled bandwidths to sites that don't pay Comcast, Time-Warner, etc for better (read: normal) speeds. Net neutrality democratizes the Internet. When has giving cable companies more control ever ended up well for consumers?
