it says "Angola Locksmith" but I called & it says "Revenue Group" What sneaky monsters..We don't owe them anything..wish they would leave us alone.

Wow. It is the revenue group, which we owe NOTHING... but it comes over as Angola Locksmith company?  Creating fake companies to get money that we don't owe you?!  Pretty scummy Revenue Group!

What sneaky crooks..creating "fake" companies to try to trick us into answering the phone. Today this came thru as Unknown Name. I don't subscribe to the pay to block calls..so I am stuck getting these. We don't owe.

Phone came through as unknown. Looked up phone number on Google and shows as Angola Locksmith as others have reported. I called them back, gave my phone number and told them I dont need alocksmith and to remove my number from their lists and hung up....LOL

been getting calls for years. if i owed them anything they would leave a message or at the very least send me a complaint. if they want to get their so called money then file the lawsuit and put it in front of a judge. they won't because that would require them to have a brain.

These people are calling my landlord looking for me and this is ridiculous and they are very rude on the phone to me. I explain to them that when you try to look them up on Google they come up as something different. Very scammy! I dont like it

Two calls per day, am and pm, do not identify other than Revenue Service.  I do not respond to call.

The two times they have called, it's gone to voicemail and when I check my voicemail, there is a message over a minute but it sounds like someone had accidentally butt dialed me

A lady called @ 8:50 am from The Revenue Group and stated that she needed my Birthdate to verify an Important Business Matter. I asked her what Important Business matter? She insisted that I give her my Birthdate? I refused! She said that I should have received a letter concerning this matter? I replied that I didn't receive any letters concerning any business matters! She stated that she would send out another letter! I then looked up the phone number and the Number came from a caller on Central Avenue in Cleveland called Angola Locksmith not the Revenue Group as she stated on the call. How she got my name, address and phone number is interesting because I'm on a do not call registry!

I guess you failed to read what the DNC covers and doesn't cover.  Like debt collectors for starters.  They have their own special law.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Been ignoring calls from this number for a while now. Answered today and a man agressively asked for me. "May I ask who's calling?" He said in an agressive tone "I'm calling on very important buisness for jessie. Are you his wife?" "Excuse me?!" He repeated himself even more agressively. "Well, if you think that jessie is a man, then you clearly have no buisness with HER." I hung up. I donno who they are pretending to be or what they want. Don't bother with them.

THESE PEOPLE are intrusive AND he made me late for work.
