Phone rings and as soon as I pick it up the other line starts ringing. Nobody ever says anything but I am running a business and these losers making these calls are very harrassing. Already called 4 or 5 times today. The callback number is busy.

I'm beginning to see a correlation.
There are a lot of people here with this same problem from VA.
I'm one of those lucky people to be targeted with their stubborn and stupidity. I've received 3 calls in the past 4 days already and I haven't bothered to answer any. Received on the 21st, 22nd, and the 25th.
So I don't think that report has gone into affect yet, Karen.
Good thing I decided to google this number.

216-589-0214 has been calling and I am getting tired of it. I did a reverse look up and it is an Ohio number. I am sure I do not know anyone in Ohio, so  I do not wish to receive anymore of these calls.

I got the same woman most of you have who apologized 3290 times before saying she finally took it off.

It was related to the Virginia Pilot newspaper.  I don't even live in the tidewater hellhole anymore.  I tried to contact the pilot online but the feedback forum is busted lol, pbb instructed to filter out feedback with west park in it.

This is the only strange number from which I've received more than 2 calls. I never answer, because I'd like for their system to think my number isn't valid. Have you folks had success with telling them not to call anymore?

Calls all the time; doesn't leave message.  I know nobody from Ohio.  I wish I could stop this!

This telemarketer NEEDS TO BE STOPPED! Annoying and repeatedly calls and hangs up.Report it to the BBB anyone who gets these calls so they will stop

multiple calls on my cell phone which is on the do not call registry.  No one is there when it rings.

Well, I work for the company that you people are talking about. We are a call center based out of Ohio who calls different states to offer them their major newspaper at a discounted rate. Like the one person said Virginia Pilot 7 day service 1.35 a week or the Great Falls Tribune 7 day service 3.46 a week. Get over it, it's an easy answer: interested or not interested?

Well, I can say that we're on a predictive dialer and the computer dials the numbers and sometimes when we get to the calls it has already rung so many times so we code them out as no answers and when you answer the phone it may take a few seconds before you come through on our end so those are some reasons why you don't hear nothing when you pick the phone up.

Same call as others...is there some way to block this or get this to stop? I don't even live close to Cleveland!

This number calls a phone sex operater even when the message is unavailabe and then leaves threatening voicemails.

Someone from 216-589-0214 called my cellphone incessantly for 2 or 3 weeks, but would hang up every time I answered. I would try to call back, but it would be busy. The one time I got through, no one answered. It got to the point where they would call every 10 minutes for up to 2 hours. FINALLY, a couple minutes ago, and, oddly, right after I found this website, they called again and someone actually answered. Some woman told me my number had been selected to receive a reduced price subscription to The Virginian Pilot for 7 weeks. I told her I already receive the same newspaper. She thanked me for being a customer and that was that. Seems like they would do something to fix this so that people might actually take them up on offers instead of being pissed off.

Ive been getting several calls a day from this number.  They never leave a message. On my cell phone it says the call is coming from Ohio.  And when I do pick up there is no one on the other end. Im getting very annoyed by this.
