I didn't answer, but my True Caller app titled the number as "Scam Student Loans".  [***]-ass mofos....

Calling about my student loan, which is cool because I don't have one.  Junk call.

Same as everyone else posting. They called, I did not answer, they did not leave a message.

Guarding your number is good, but it doesn't stop them from using auto dialers to just dial every number in an exchange.

Recorded message. "My student loans have been flagged...."

Got two calls from this number, when I answered the second one, it was some automated message about my student loan accounts being flagged for debt relief.   I obviously didn't buy into that!  They also did not identify their company.

Called but left no message. Caller ID said "Ohio".

Caller   wanted  $4,000  or  go  to  jail  for  tax  evasion
Said  he  was  IRS  Agent

Student  loan  due  immediatly  for  $56,800  And  wanted  money  now  or  go  to  jail
Called  them.
They  use  foul  language   and  crude  people
   Should  be  in  jail  and in  court  paying  big  fines  for  being  crooks.

Hi friends.  How ha your day been going so far? Very well I hope.  This number calied my cellular calling device at 5:39PM on 3/9/17. It rang the full time, but no message was left. This is very upsetting.  You know what else is upsetting? If Xavier makes it into the NCAA Tournament.  Those bums!   Fly or die!

Be glad you have a cell phone --- it is easy to block unwanted calls on them! If you don't know how to, just ask your phone company's representative & they'll show you. Trying to block calls on a land line, however, is hopeless!

That's only the tip of the iceberg! Do Not Call is ONLY for legitimate telemarketers --- the hundreds of calls we all get every year are spam calls & they are not legitimate in any way! They haven't dialled your number (robo-dial) & usually don't know who you are. We don't know who they are so we should NEVER do any kind of business with them no matter what they say. And because they are "spoofing" legitimate numbers, it's almost impossible to block them ... except on our cell phones which is usually simple. This is a modern-day plague & it is global. Best you can do is spread the word, especially to those who are vulnerable, so that this ceases to be a lucrative business --- as it is, they only need a 25% success rate to keep on going & they get that easily because so many people don't understand how dangerous it all is!
