I had the same thing happen to me. My bank gave me a number to contact them which is not accessible on there site. I called the number and first thing said was if you want your money refunded go to and said a website I don't remember now and requested a refund. I was returned $28.40 in my account. But they have done it again so will be contacting my bank and blocking them from my account.

Hi everybody. It is Thanksgiving morning and the phone call start at 8:00. I dont know anything about MyCash Guardian and I have these charges that has caused my account to to be overdrawn, Will someone help me this is horrible?

You need to contact your banking institution as soon as it opens Friday morning, dispute the charges and close your account.

Reports about My Cash Guardian for$29.95 and Vantage Funding for $30.00 is apparently a broken record.  The same thing happened to me on Nov 21 and Nov 23 except the $30. was only listed as check #99573 which is nowhere near my check number series. Will report all to my bank tomorrow because my account is now also overdrawn

Same thing happened to me! This is the most ridiculous [***] I have ever heard.  How can they just go into your account if you never authorized anything.  I am mad as hell!!!!!!!!

This too just happened to me.  The exact same charges.  I have, as of yet recieved a phone call.  Should I close my account?

The same exact thing happened to me and the indian sounding guy was threatening me trying to convince me that if i didnt make a payment over the phone I would be arrested at my job and al kinds of crazy stuff but i didnt pay anything and now today i got a charge from my cash guardian as well OH NO this is crazy

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Just had 5 calls in a row, will not leave voice mail. Actually texted me last night with WYD? Not answering your text is what I'm doing. Finally used a call blocker on number. I also checked my bank account right away for unauthorized withdrawls. I don't think they have the intelligence to see if you actually have money, because I don't and the scam would be on them!

I just got hit with the same scam.

who cares the point is people with heavy accents are scamming thousands of people....
