My dude got two text messages from this number, the origin is in MAURITANIA which is the Islamic Republic country in Northern Africa.  Why the hell they are sending text messages I don't know.  Looks like a phishing scam.

receiving text message alerts from this number, but no visual text message. i just reported this to t-mobile. Three texts messages today. The origin of the text is MAURITANIA...  I BELIEVE CRYSTAL IS CORRECT ABOUT THIS BEING A PHISHING SCAM....

I think i traced this call to T-Mobile.. But if people read what there text say we can probably figure out who this is. It must be someone we all know in  here.

I have texting blocked on all my family's cells because of this crap,and just last night I unblocked it just for a few minutes on mine & my boyfriend's lines to send a picture message...and wouldn't you know it,two texts from 222-222-2207 appeared on his phone at the EXACT SAME TIME as the pics....I want to know,IS T-MOBILE IN ON THIS???How the hell did they know the exact time I unblocked??

No. what i know is that its a T-Mobile phone , but someone uses a different sim card to use this 222, number. Now if u tell me exactly what text r u receiving. And what exactly r they texting to the rest of the people we can figure out who the phony scamist are..

I have T-Mobile and this morning I received two multi-media messages from my mom.  A few hours later, I received the same two multi-media messages.  The phone number information displayed on my phone matched my mom's.  When I looked at my account on T-Mobile's website, it indicated that all four messages came from 222-222-2207 in Mauritania.

Same sort of thing happened with us. A picture message, and t-mobile's site says we received 2 texts from 222-222-2207 at the same moment. I called t-mobile, and they say we sent the texts. Other then that, t-mobile doesn't seem to have a clue what is going on.
