It seems like they are only texting our husband's/boyfriend's most of the time, so far that i have read most people are complaining that there husband's are receiving text messages from this number      
222-222-2207. I am just curious what are they saying in the messages? Because my husband got two picture messages twice today with a fat disgusting women saying i thought you like turkey legs.

when someone sends you an audio file, it lists as coming from there.

It seems to me the reason its being reported mostly on boyfriends and husband's phones is because girlfriends and wife's are going through their bills. Its on my phone and my girls phone. And she accused me of sexting. So yeah, just thought I would throw that out there.

I can confirm this. I seen this number on my husbands line today and after reading this
posting I checked the time of those messages received.
It is a number that seems to be used when sending out an audio postcard with tmobile!
I sent one out today to my husband and checked on the time when I had sent it.
It was send the same time he received those messages from this number.
Hope this clears things up! So 222-222-2208 is being used for Audio Postcard by T-mobile.
Test it. Send your hubby/ boyfriend an audiocard and compare the times.

Seems like miss is correct. I looked up ' tmobile  audio postcard' online and during the tmobile demonstration I saw a # 222-222-2222. Seems close enough for me. Here's the address i used for the demo. http://forums.t-mobile.com/t5/Sidekick-LX-200 ... -p/104516#M1890
Scroll down and click 'audio postcard'. If you look closely on her phone you can see the '222' #
Oh and when I called tmobile ( before I found the postcard info) I was able to block international calls for free.

my husband keeps getting messages from this and the time he may be having an affair and could be possible the girl is using some type of program to message him. Have any of you actually seen what these message say somehow everyone husband or wife is getting these

I am getting these texts that are showing on my bill under usage.  But the texts are not coming through.  It's also on my moms phone as well.  I called tmobile and they have no idea what is going on but credited me for the texts.  I have about 22 so far this month on 2 lines.  I am not sending or receiving any audio cards or voice texts.  Or sexting...lol.  A lot of people are having this issue from what I have seen online.  It seems to only be tmobile customers too.  Hope this helps.

I spent three-five hours on the phone wtth T-Mobile and they were no help. I have five phones on there plan and all five are effected. But still getting the runaround with t-mobile.I have the behold II sense I have gotten the 222-222-2208 number my phone will lock up,has very fast battery loss (no apps. running),random text to CA. TX.. They have no clue!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found the same number on my boyfriend's phone bill several times. I would like to know what it is as well. We too have tmobile.

I also have tmob and am h aving the same problem. Mind 6 and 7 at a time one after the other. Never have had any readable texts just blank screen.

I only have three lines and so far have only shown u.p on one line .  There is about 6 or  7 times one right after the other that they are recieved. this has been taking place about every other day. i have called tmob and they saynd  for me to do a message blk. One more detail they only show up on the bill and not the phone itself.  hope this can help

How would I go about blocking the number?

Please stop this number from calling my phone 222-222-2208

My grandson has gotten many of these text messages. They are listed as from MAURITANIA. This is an Islamic country in North Africa. The texts have strange symbols.  I first thought they were some kind of terrorist messages.I looked at some yesterday and within them I saw some real words like "Heidi's 6th" and showed to my daughter. She said she had sent some pictures to my grandson and this was the title. Evidently his phone cannot accept the pictures and they are being changed into some odd language. Maybe this is all. We can block the number on Family Allowances by not allowing any calls or texts from it. It just wastes the texts.

My husband's(not mine) T Mobile line gets text messages from this 222-222-2208 coming from Mauritania.  Not sure what they are or why.  He doesn't really say anything and clears his phone before I can check.  Why is it only his that gets texted and not mine?  It is just weird.....

it is a # from Chase when you request the balance of your checking acct they will send the balance to you.  This has to be set up through Chase.

My 82 years old mom is getting these weird texts too when i checked out acct online.

The 222-222-2208 number is when you are on your cell phone and do facebook. As you see on your bill, they are all incoming, when your phone alerts you of something on facebook or your messaging on there, this is how TMobile gets it to your phone.
