I found this number on my husbands bill as well (I have my reasons for looking and he knows). I obviously got nervous too and found this message board. LADIES this is not from porn, or a chat line or anything along those lines. I know for a fact because I looked on my bill and I have the same charges from the same number from the same place and I have no idea where they came from. LADIES please trust me because I have been in your shoes...relax!

I think I figured this out!! I sent a bunch of stuff to my GF. She keeps losing and breaking her phones so I got her a cheap $20 phone. We have T-Mobile service. Since I got her the cheap phone, anything I send her beyond 2 messages in a single text, they show up as this screwy number and the marituana designation. This has happened only on her cheap phone and the times match up perfectly. Evidently, anything over 2 messages on her phone becomes a "picture message" and her phone won't take pictures. This makes sense to me now.

How do you know there pics from an adult website? What sex site?

Not true. I receive a lot of pic messages and it never comes up like this 2222222211. It shows the senders number.

This nuumber is a phishing scam, My wife and I get them at about 10:00 AM.
Shows on the bill but not the phone.
This one is not cheating on you.

did you even think to research the number? little weird that her ex boyfriend would be calling from AFRICA! all of you paranoid people who dont do the rational thing and pinpoint the number are ridiculous.

I saw these texts on my phone.  I don't know where they came from and I definitely did not get any pornographic pictures on my phone.  I should not have to pay for these texts or pay to have them blocked.  T-Mobile should be able to stop this!

Sounds to me YOU might need a new phone. If YOU got charged for a text YOU never received, then that's between you and TMobile. (There's an easy solution for "misplaced messages and such," it's called a battery pull.

Not everything is conspiracy theory...just plain ol' technology.

Furthermore, why in a day and age of unlimited messaging packages (that are extremely cheap by the way), would you be paying "per use???" I'm still not sure of that one......

So, unless you can further disprove my response, careful what you say in your sad attempt to dis-credit.

My T-Mobile bill shows text messages from 222-222-2211 but I never received any text and also did not apply for this service..... I do not send text messages just forward and receive pictures.   Also, I never subscribed for this 71528 service under "PREMIUM SERVCIES and unsubscribed but the service and fees  still appear on my phone bill for a monthly fee of $9.99.  This 222-222-2211 comes from Mauritania, West Africa.  T-Mobil is NO HELP IN THIS MATTER...THEY JUST WANT THE BILL PAID. My bill went from $54 to $71 per month and I am sick and tired of this.

I don't have texting on my phone.
I was charged for the four text messages from this number. They are not my calls.

They deleted my text bills.
