Agree with TK...I have never had a student loan, and have never inquired about your services, but am receiving numerous calls on my cell which is also on the DNC list.  I've reported the number.

All illegal telemarketer scum scammers should be clubbed like baby seals. Just sick of all these illegal calls on our cell & land line phones. With little to no help from the Federal Trade Commission and or the Inspector Generals office. The amount of money according to the fines ($500.00 per call) these scammers owe all of us probably can pay off the country's  debt.

Guessing they may have accessed phone number through credit bureaus. Just got done with Student Loan Consolidation but this 224-202-7359 is asking to consolidate student loans authorized by US Congress. It was a voicemail left by an automated messaging and asking to press 9 to be removed from their list.

Most likely from Credit Bureaus. They publish all the numbers/ addresses put on Credit/ Student Loan Applications. I have a monitoring program for 3 credit bureaus and can see when information is updated with them. The only time the calls started was after the Student Loan Application was submitted.

Yes you can have your student loan forgiven if you are permanently disabled because i did that. So i dont know where you got your info from but yes you can.

Called and did not leave a msg. I called back from a different # - went to VM saying "Google customer is not available.  Hung up.  Saw these posts.  I thought it was a scam since I have no student loans.

Well, I have no student loans at all, never have had.  So I think it's a scam based on that fact alone.  I've had my phone # for 10 years so no excuse that they were trying to reach someone else.  I think that Sherry person is just trying to people to call her back.  What a bad girl!

If you are a legitimate company, why are you not providing the requested information?  You say you only contact people who have requested student loan assistance by email or phone, then please tell me why you are calling me?  I have never requested assistance for student loans.  I have never had any student loans.

Stop calling my cell phone.  It is on the "Do Not Call List" and, if you call again you will be reported.  I've had enough.

I just got a call from this number. I was busy and didn't answer. After checking the number out here I decided to call back and the number is disconnected.

This number keep calling I don't  answer.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

You're trying to call my GF, who has no loans and has never made any inquiry. Robodialing, playing a recording,  calling people with whom you have a business relationship,  no do-not-call list, etc. all illegal under the Telephone Consumer
Protection Act.
