In total he has called my phone number 24 times after telling me to go f* myself today!
Dealing with Scammers & this kind of phone abuse is ridiculous!!!!

No message, caller id "MUSKEGON MI" on Verizon, 9:00 am EST, now blocked. I assume that someone in the non-US roboscam community has access to confidential communications in the US medical services community. This call could be related to medical roboscam calls from 470-401-0218 on Dec 18 and Jan 18.

Female identified herself as calling from the "pharmacy" and asked to speak to Charles.  I asked her which pharmacy she was calling from, and she said something about depending upon which part of the country I'm in and my insurance.  Just then we were interrupted by my parrot, who wanted to be fed.  I asked her if she heard the bird, and she responded "yes, I heard the f****ing bird."  I hung up.  Then someone from the same number called back a few minutes later, but the bird answered, begged for food again, and then hung up.  I think the bird hates scammers, but loves to speak about food with them.  These folks are scammers and in the bird's opinion should be treated with the respect they deserve.

Rec'd call today from this # stating they were following up on paperwork I submitted for prescription needs as well as my Medicare application.  I stopped her immediately and told her she is sadly mistaken as I have do NOT take any prescription drugs nor am I anywhere near applying for Medicare. She apologized and hung up.  Wonder how many more calls I will receive from this number.

Called asking for my husband. Said they were from a pharmacy. Very heavy accent. Knew by the area code that it was a phony baloney call. Normally during the second ring would have pressed the "talk" button immediately followed by the "off" button. Decided to answer. Started with a new pulmonologist this week and am waiting for a call re: equipment to be delivered for an overnight test to be done at home. But if that were the case, it would have been a local area code. Just a reminder to go with my gut.

I got a call from 231-220-9531. CID said Muskegon MI. I answered and a foreign-sounding (Chinese?) female voice asked for my husband by name (he died over 4 years ago). I asked who was calling and she hung up. Anyone who is still asking for a dead man is someone he never did business with. Sounds like scammer all the way!

    Caller ID: MICHIGAN CALL.

This number called the office this morning. "Jay" through his thick accent identified himself as calling from the Healthcare Hotline and started to ask about Medicare. I told him we weren't interested and to stop calling here. Jay hung up without saying anything in reply.

That method of dealing with scammers is AWESOME!  Because it wastes their time and prevents them from harassing someone else in the meantime.  Unfortunately it probably doesn't work with robocalls....  I got one of those calls at 9:15 AM (which means that if it actually IS coming from Muskegon (which I doubt) they're getting up pretty damned early.  And never learned -- not that they would care -- telephone etiquette (which is never call before 10 AM or after 10 PM and let the phone ring ten times).  Of course, my answering machine picks up after 5 but the [***] didn't leave a message.  Not surprised that it's spam.  My husband once kept a fake Microsoft guy on the phone for 25 minutes by pretending to reboot his computer (he's a software engineer) and the guy eventually cursed at him and hung up -- but I don't have time to waste with that, so I just don't answer.  I did think that 9:15 for a hangup call from a spammer was just rude.  If I recognize the number as being a repeat spammer I will pick up and immediately hang up -- that way they can't leave a message.  But I was trying to sleep in because I wasn't feeling well and had to go to the other end of the hallway just in case it was legit.  Which -- as I suspected -- is probably not....   Now I have to go look up the number for the political spam robocall we got the other night (I meant to listen to the message again to be able to report BOTH the number it called from and the number given in the message but apparently my husband deleted it from the answering machine....  Because if I had called the number back it would have been with annoying music -- the more annoying the better, as far as I'm concerned (and it's telling that we only get calls from ONE political party -- the "orange" one... never from my husband's political party....).

I was trying to sleep in and these schmucks called me at 9:15 AM.  And if they really ARE calling from "Muskegon, MI" that meant they called at 8:15 AM CST.  No message left.  But I see there are 10 PAGES of complaints here (why am I NOT surprised?) so I'm glad I didn't answer only to be harassed by some fake pharmacy scam.  When I get calls from my ACTUAL pharmacy, I recognize the number.  And while they're robocalls, the number in the message IS their number and they're just calling about a prescription to be picked up.  And trust me -- my pharmacy is down the hill from my house.  NOT in Michigan....
