We received almost the same e-mail in one of our US plants. Same customer name - James Son.  Same shipping company - Air Dolphin Shipping Co. Same contact at Dolphin -  Mr Shakir Tetteh. Our  branch personnel did not recognize what this really was and processed charges on credit cards offered by 'customer'. These charges were approved and credited to our company bank account. What do these guys do next? Ask credit card company to reverse the charges by saying they were not authorized?

I recieved this email through our website. As a company based in Perth, Australia and we use mm not inches and call carbon steel sheet - mild steel sheet. Did a search for "James & Co Inc" found nothing and wasn't going to waste my time. I thought it sounded a little strange and found this website.

got an email from james son identical to the conveyor belt enq. we delayed in response as no one orders $20000 aus without knowing anything about who we are etc. and the specs that were originally sent to us were for perf plate so they didnt even get out products right. i googled their orignal address on their email which turned out to be a hydraulics shop that has nothing to do with the con man. so we asked for a contact number and the con man avoided giving that but still persisted in ordering. i googled the email address james.son1951@yahoo.com and it came up with an enquiry he sent to someone else about pvc. but there was no listing as a company apart from a james and sons co which wasnt related. I then proceeded to email the fellow to see what else he would give and when he came up with a delivery address in togo it was really getting blown out of proportion. he claimed it were to be delivered to some place that was in another language but when i googled that it meant coffee. then i googled the air freight company as airdolphinshipping@cooltoad.com. i noticed cool toad is also a free email account and that the email address linked to a post on here. my point was proven that they were a scam.

we got the exact same enquiry. we did our research though.

This same thing happen to our company today, but the email was from a Jon Cryer, joncryer2@gmail, the shipping company he used was the same one Cyber Shipping Company and the same exact letter. Please be aware of this.

This guy also tried to pass his scam to several medical supply companies in montreal.
He will accept inflated pricing no questions like said by others and the shipping company name essor is an existing conglomerate of all types of companies with only one shipping company in INDIA!!! so if you're not in India , this shipping company can't do anything.
