This number +234 8064849566 he said his name is Chris from North Carolina called me and I asked him why he didn't use his US number while he's in Afghanistan. 234 is African number and he didn't respond me again.

Gave my number for texting on WhatsApp with a guy I met on the OkCupid site yesterday. His name is 'GeorgeGood233', number +234 (816) 994-7416, cute picture of a guy in a car with tattood arms - looks about 35. He says he has a place in Canada and in the States, and is in Afghanistan right now on a US Military mission but is leaving the army after this mission. Wrote me first saying "Hello maybe this is a mystery for me,maybe those guys are blind to see such a perfect and natural beauty in you,I would confess viewing your picture and profile has really captivated my heart,if you don't mind we could get to know each other and see what the future holds for us. George" Refers to the states as "u.s.a." and there is definitely broken English. Haha so I asked him about the Nigerian country code and he said he had to change it - it was compulsory. Honestly.

UPDATE: I did a Google reverse image search and the photos were stolen from another man's LinkedIn account. I stopped communication and reported the above information to OkCupid and WhatsApp. The same day another guy with similar information tried starting a conversation with me ... likely the same guy. Blocked that username and I pray nothing more comes of this!

Same thing, guy from Okcupid name mengoergegentle saying that he's in Africa right now and needs money for his internet bill...

I thought the internet cafe's in Nigeria, where all these romance scammers hang out, was 'pay as you go'? They shouldn't let the scammers run a tab. I mean really, like they're going to pay?

I got a call today needing $300 say they have my husband in custody and they need the money to release him back to the states. I don't have a husband in another country. I have however been being messaged by a sweet man saying he was doing contract work there and will be coming home soon. The number is  234 806 298 9743.

Got a call from Nigeria number 234 806 312 7980. Betty Osung saying she was American stationed in Nigeria as a US army nurse asking me for 300
Canadians dollars. Knew it was a scam sending pics of an American girl . When she called  she had an African accent. Asking to send her money like who's the idiot who think the US will leave the troops and sending info which people and addresses I don't know. Told her you are a scammer and I'll report the number. People please beware!

He messaged me on Tinder, moved to WhatsApp.  He told me he's currently in Nigeria with the Army for Peacekeeping.

I am on FaceBook and been chatting with a person for about 2 months now! It was fine at first but lately she has been bugging me to get an savings account that her dad died and she wants get his inheretence transfered to the account! I got suspicious on things and e mail she gave me someone else is using! I looked up her profile her contact # is +234-806-254-7841 she told me she lived in Springdale Arkansas! Gut feeling wins again! Where is this number from?
