Just your usual Romance Scammer, and you have been catfished.  234 is Nigeria.  Your sweetie is a guy, and those photos are just stuff he grabbed off the web somewhere. Guess you never talked or skype'd.  If you have to dial that many digits and 011 to get out of the USA, that is a sign you are not calling Arkansas or a cell phone.

Call supposed from Narrack Nigieria

I never come across with a phone number like this on a new year day mg,,,+2349037534326,, until I check the area code online and its Nigerian number,, and he video call me and abusing me,, also he was pretending that my step daughter Ava wanted to chat with me and he was lying from Nigeria also I know my ex is white from London with his daughter 7 years old,,,I know for sure this is scam,,,he even admitted that his fake and scammers..

I also got a call from this Chris from North Carolina, i blocked him after about an hour of conversation! He wanted me to pay full attention to him and not my two years old child and was getting mad at me. I told him if he has no patience for my children then he has no patience for me

You think its a scam and want to know what to do?  Well, I think you should go ask your mommy or daddy instead of anyone here, since any adult would automatically know what to do when they suspect it is a scam.

Tell them these words: Nigeria, send money, date website and they will know instantly it is a Nigeria Romance Scam....as many others have said right here in this very thread.

These scammers are getting smart. I was messaged on Instagram of a very handsome guy that was in the army. He first followed me and I followed him back, and within 2 mins, he contacted me. I replied and we started to have a conversation. He said he was on the Army stationed in Texas but he was in Nigeria for peacekeeping. He asked me to download Whatsapp so he can message me better. I did and we resumed our conversation. He would ask how am I doing and I would ask the same. But I started to notice the speech was a little different. He would often repeat himself. Jump forward to last night. He was telling him some sob story about he doesn’t have family and the President wasn’t sending food, so he needed food vouchers. I told him I don’t wire money or send money to someone I haven’t at least video chatted with. He send me a pic of “him at that very moment”. I said a pic isn’t going to slide, I need to video chat. He said he not allowed to video chat. He then asked for some Amazon cards because that’s the only way he can get food over there. I told him I will get in touch with him in the morning. Funny thing is, he called me first in the morning 15 mins I was suppose to wake up. I just reported and blocked his number and whatever Instagram he contacted me from.

I received Facebook request and it was supposed to be nice looking military man in Nigeria.  All went well for a week and supposedly did video chat but it was quick.  After a week of the romance talk out came the question of buying a card for phone calls and even though I was curious all the time. I definitely knew after then what was going on.  I nicely stopped the WhatsApp chats and I hope that this is the last of it.

Don't blame anybody else but yourself for what happened to you.
